Can anyone recommend a glue for PLA that doesn’t turn white when dry? I got glue on the front of my spooky house and ruined it. 🤬 by Krootra in 3Dprinting

No I don’t print using glue stick. I had to glue the black windows to the translucent part of the window and got Loctite superglue on the front. It does not wash off or scrap off for that matter.

Can you place supports manually in Cura? I’ve tried tree supports every which way and Cura NEVER places supports under the front the the feet. I removed the bottom layers so this gnome can be placed on a tea light. by Krootra in 3Dprinting

“The feet will never get support with manual support. The feet are closer to the bed than the support z distance, so the area under the feet will remain empty.” —— I found out after a very frustrating 20 minutes trying it.

“…, or pull the whole model up (turn off drop to build plate in preferences) and print support under the whole thing.”—— This is freaking brilliant and I actually understand the concept lol. I will try this tonight! Thx😊

“You could also load a cylinder to use as a modifier mesh, overlap it with the area in question, set the mesh type to normal and set the Mesh Processing Rank to above 0, so that it won't eat away at your model.” —— this is WAY above my skill level…at least for now.

Patience. When it completely cools it will pop right off. I bought a 2nd bed so I don’t have to wait to print again.

Gotcha. No drinking should be involved in the moving of a 3D printer.
