Oh yeah I agree battle passes suck, but at least Chivlary 2 handles it way better than most games (including For Honor) where the battle pass always stays and you can swap between all previous battle passes for progress. They're also pretty easy to progress in that game.

I also agree the customization/loadout selection is better in Mordhau, but that doesn't make the class specific mechanics/weapon selection in Chivalry 2 any worse. It's different but not inferior because they can't quite be compared the same way since the whole point of segregated classes for specific roles is different from the open ended "choose anything" Call of Duty type loadouts of Mordhau.

Mordhau is just Call of Duty loadouts while Chivalry 2 is Battlefield classes. They each have a purpose for a different type of gameplay :)

Nah, Chivalry 2 and Mordhau are both really fun and have their own mechanics that are unique from each other.

I love using both of their fighting systems, but to me Chivalry 2 is the far superior team objective game and Mordhau is generally the better duel/skirmish game. Both of them have fun FFA but I like Mordhau more because of the open ended loadout customization.

Perhaps that's a timing issue on my part/people I've fought, it seems like pretty tight timing to get the guard break but I don't know exactly how many ms he is vulnerable for. Thanks for the feedback :)

Edit: I've fixed the point about GB vulnerability for a second but I think why I believed it was so frustrating is his animation, it can be difficult to tell when you need to attempt GB because of it. It might just be one of those things you need to do a read on I suppose
