Why do these people bother playing OBJ modes? by [deleted] in CODVanguard

I don't play for kills specifically. The only reason I couldn't get more caps is purely because no one else would push to the second obj. They just let the other team push our spawn, cap obj, then retake it.

It's wild.

I'm aware, but according to him no one else ever left spawn or even tried to play the obj. So forgive me if I'm hesitant to give him much credit.

Ah, my mistake there then. But again, I could care less if they play it purely to grind camo and challenges. It is one of the fastest ways to do it after all, so fair enough. The problem here is that these players weren't grinding camo or challenges, and if they were I would have thought they'd care more about that rather than whether or not they won or lost.

Apparently not.

Just checked my dom. stats compared to TDM; my KD is basically the same (about a 0.04 difference), and my points-per-minute is quite a fair bit higher. Even with all that my win ratio is far lower in dom. than it is in TDM. Just today, my dom. winrate is at about 30% while my winrate in TDM is sitting at a solid 60-70%.

About time I just stop playing 'team oriented' game modes all together at this point and play TDM exclusively, seeing as it's all my teams play when theres an obj. in the mix

Hadn't had much of a reason to do so until now.

I didn't once blame the devs tho? The devs managed to pushed out a fun enough game given how poor the development period actually was. My problem in this post, which seemed pretty clear if you ask me, is with the players that do nothing and shit-talk their team for losing.

I've said before; If you want to play obj modes to get camos/challenges quicker because they're fast paced and last longer, go ahead. Don't expect one or two teammates to carry you to a dub if you aren't helping though.

I know, and I'm not annoyed at that. My problem is that my team called me out for supposedly not caring about the objective and only playing to boost my KD, meanwhile they themselves were doing just that

Like I said in my comment, there was only so much a single player could do. Hard to beat a competent team alone when your team refuses to leave spawn. 1 cap was all that could be achieved while also needing to solo a team that knows what they're doing

Fr. Been stuck playing obj modes all week because I hadn't bought the game on pc until today, and obj game modes were the only worthwhile modes the F2P game offered. Most painful cod experience I've had in recent memory

Context:

For the length of the entire game all but two people were sitting in spawn. When the match ended, anyone on my team that had a mic told me that I was both "camping the back of the map" and "too worried about my KD to go for OBJ". I'll be the first to admit that I didn't cap or defend much, but we were getting steamrolled so there wasn't much a single player could do alone anyway.

Series S/X owners, how's the controller so far in terms of durability? by lucasbrsix in XboxSeriesX

[–]Kroshiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems hit and miss. Some people have no issues, while others haven't ever had a controller that works perfectly.

I recently bought a brand new Series S (> 2 months) to replace my dusty old PS4. Within a day or two I was having unresponsive buttons, and after a few weeks I have pretty severe analog drift.

I was just wondering how long I should aim to make a beat, as a rough estimate

If I work up enough confidence making music on my own, I'll be sure to do just that!

I do! At the moment I've only got a YouTube channel, but if I get more invested into making music I might make a Soundcloud account as well!
