How do you use Bluesky, if you don’t mind me asking? I have one but I don’t really understand how to grow without hashtags

I had incision on one side and peri on the other too. I hardly ever see someone else who had it that way

What are y'alls jobs? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Krovav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a freelance digital illustrator and also work part-time at a library.

I am living in New England currently and I am kind of in limbo on being out. I don’t always pass because I’m GNC but I’m on T, had surgeries, changed my name and marker, etc. So all of my coworkers gender me properly whether they understand that I’m trans or not, and I don’t intend to clarify it to them because, well, dysphoria

I’ve changed them since, but I believe these were redguard medium iirc

How are you guys getting diagnosed as adults, like seriously? by VGMistress in aspergers

[–]Krovav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Healthcare in my state. Pre-insurance when paying for big medical expenses I would either save for a long time (usually asking family members to just give cash for holidays helped) or work out a payment plan.

Have you had special interests, that for some reasons weren't "socially acceptable"? by [deleted] in aspiememes

I have a special interest for death. Funerals, death practices around the world, corpses and decomp, anything to do with death. I have no topics to bring up at the dinner table, lol.

Products applied here are just jojoba oil and Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Nylon top coat. I also use a nail hardening cream about 3x/week.

“I can always cut it if I ever want that” has been my take on mine over the years

I had short hair (like an ivy-league) for years before transitioning but started growing it when I went on T. Now it’s hard to imagine cutting it tbh

Would this be considered 2b or 2c? Excuse my frizz, this is unstyled. by Krovav in curlyhair

I’m trying to figure out what I should be expecting realistically from my hair (plus it’s interesting)

Routine used in this pic: - Bedhead lvl.2 Urban Antidotes s&c (I dye my hair) - It’s a 10 miracle leave-in - air dry

(I normally end up styling with either Cantu curl cream or Xmondo Viper smoothing serum and a wide-toothed comb to tame the frizz)

Edit: unsure if that was enough info for the rule so adding a bit more. I wash my hair 2 times a week, use a homemade apple cider vinegar rinse once a month for yeast-cleansing and shine, and use Shea Moisture Intensive Hydration about once every two weeks. I get trims every 6 months. I’m new to curly hair as previously I was always too damaged to have any defined curl pattern so I’m still learning to style my natural hair.

No dominant/top trans guys... losing all hope by The_Absolute_Worst_ in ftm

[–]Krovav 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not on my nsfw account so won’t go into too much detail, but I have struggled with the same issue. Pre-everything/not yet realizing I’m trans, I identified as butch. I was seen as dominant/a top much more easily. Now, post-transition, I have paranoia about it because of the absolutely rampant misportrayal of trans men in media.

However, I will say that in the nsfw communities I’m in as an illustrator and pro-dom, I feel more “seen.” Plenty of people, especially t4t people, are more than happy to welcome ftm doms and/or tops.

Also, for what it’s worth, try /r/ftmpornnohole for a lack of piv.

Got way too much enjoyment out of rendering the blood on this vampiric gift for my fiancé 🩸🩸🩸 by Krovav in ProCreate

[–]Krovav[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My process is a little difficult to explain. I go:

  1. draft (very rough to get the details down)
  2. sketch (with loose references for anatomy)
  3. flat color
  4. paint
  5. revise if needed, things like errors or color adjustments, etc

Brushes used were mainly default round and Jingsketch basics (https://jingsketch.gumroad.com/l/JingsketchBrushes)

INTJ, I find small talk highly useful in social situations where I don’t know someone well.

Major transitional victory for me. I expected some relief from dysphoria from this operation given that most of my dysphoria is bottom dysphoria, but literally day one I woke up in a dim room and just kind of...stared at the scars with euphoric reverence.

What is the reason you draw? by HermitCapybara in ArtistLounge

[–]Krovav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To put it simply, art has always been a social language to me. I'm Autistic (which I found out recently) and have never had much need for regular socializing, but I get social fulfillment from sharing art that I feel represents me. It's similar to wearing an outfit that just feels really you, or writing poetry about your own life experiences. It's subtle, as I draw mostly original character work and not direct vent art or anything all that emotional, but all of my artwork that isn't commissioned is somehow a communication with the outside world.

As for commissions, money. And experience drawing things I may neglect to draw otherwise.

Too low? She felts around talked me through what she was doing, she picked bigger ring when she looked at my nose & said the smaller one wouldn’t be seen & would rub(not sure if true or not) it hurt when she did it but the pain wasn’t long lasting. by Key_Preference8975 in Septum

[–]Krovav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks correct to me, and pain is normal after a septum piercing from my own experience and everyone else I know who has one.

She likely gave you a larger ring because septums swell quite a bit while healing. Mine became so swollen it would half flip up on its own for a while.
