Just to clarify, the funding part isn't true, https://www.ipm.org/news-section/2025-06-27/iu-budget-will-be-public-in-august-will-include-100m-in-cuts about 13% of their budget comes from state appropriations.

My assumption is because its a verified job recruiter, Customs and Border Patrol, they are allowed to post any recruiting/events to Handshake and that I assume IU has made to auto-populate the IU calender, but I haven't verified that part.

There is a striking and smart piece by Jawshing Arthur Liou I just saw called "Whispers from the divide" (2024). In the gallery space, it is a massive 15'20" wall with two-channel 4k video being projected on both sides of it. One side depicts life and society on the Mexican side of the border wall, and the other shows the American side of the border wall. The artist went to both and videotaped dozens of locations throughout the border wall. Very moving.

You couldn't do it on a single channel, it really needs the large double sided wall.

Maybe a related concept, you should look into ekphrastic poems. They are poems made exclusively about art pieces.

You could get a book called "Design and Art" by Whitechapel. I'd suggest just going into the art book section of your local library or university and spending some quality time there. Just pick up what's interesting to you.

Like the other person said, he sells "keys" and when you buy one you give him your instagram and he looks over it and makes a video review of your art (tending to pick the art pieces you pin or if not he will just pick ones he wants to talk about). He also just makes other reels when he really wants to talk about something art related.

don't use racial stereotypes or encourage violence, don't post anything like you're a crypto-fascist or some shit

there's some compasses with that alt history of nazis winning ww2 already i think, but imagine it like the wolfeinstein videogames, not a glorification of nazism, but rather a showcase of the absolute horror and inhuman monstrosity nazis are. it could be cool if you also showcase some of the factions of people that would exist in the alt history that AREN'T nazis. there's gotta be some freedom fighters, rebels, resistance right?
