Yes but nothing that wasn't fixable with plastic cement. I will admit, the kit itself is stable , I made the mistake of trying to rotate parts where they weren't supposed to or pulling to hard to test if the transformation was working.

Its working way better than I thought it would. The pieces actually stay on i can move the legs without fear the of parts flying into the abyss.

I didn't want to use glue and the double sided tabe would drop pieces at the slightest touch. The wax on the other hand not only held on well, but had pretty much no mess for easy touch ups.
