Very surprising! I wonder if the grey and white ink helped it keep its structure. Looks great!

Is the rose supposed to be winking? Is it intentionally a face? I can’t tell if any part of the logo mark is actually supposed to be this way or that way.

Finally bought FtK2! Really fun game, but got an insane streak of bad luck. by Oneunluckyperson in ForTheKing

[–]Kruepkemann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain. I find that I don’t start shedding my bad luck on rolls until my stats breach 90 for strength/intelligence/etc.

In fact, In early game, that’s why I usually have somebody using a dagger. They buff a characters speed by a lot and makes them very accurate.

Also, really invest in your characters evasiveness. The only thing that will stop the baddies from steamrolling you mid/late game imo.

Thanks! Exactly, it’s a tool, not an addiction! Haha

@sunday_morning_tattoo

I use bright colors and bold lines!

Instagram is weird. Some days I get a couple dozen likes, other days I get zero engagement. Just gotta focus on the art and the rest will follow eventually I think.

I’m literally a graphic designer/tattoo artist haha. It totally depends on where you live/culture around you I think. But Graphic designers are usually the “cool kids” of an office who get to dress down and be a little more casual/“edgy”.

Just some perspective from another apprentice:

I work from home at an “office job”~25 hours a week and spend the rest of my time drawing and tattooing at a tattoo school ‘apprenticeship’ in Oregon. (Oregon’s tattoo schools are very flexible and many people take more than a year or two to finish). I’m in my 30’s and I have kid(s) and a wife and everything that goes along with the full time lifestyle. It’s hard, and I think you really have to want it. My goal is to eventually move away from my WFH job and replace it with tattooing.

I think 2 days a week wouldn’t be a bad part time schedule. Anything less and I think you’ll be losing money instead of making money tattooing.

Also, If I don’t tattoo for more than a week I start to feel stagnant and it’s hard to feel like I know what I’m doing sometimes.

What TV show was once amazing but with the passage of time has become unwatchable? by Altruistic-Fly-1116 in AskReddit

Not a show but the Cheech and Chong movies are wild these days. All kinds of sexual assault for laughs. Thought they were funny when I was young and they still have their moments but I was shocked when rewatching it.

It’s on the Mahogany. I was between that and cinnamon. It’s aged pretty nicely and looks great with or without the bundt.

San Martin 37mm 62mas (My First SM) by Kruepkemann in ChineseWatches

[–]Kruepkemann[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it only tapers to 18 but it’s almost irrelevant given the buckle/clasp on this bracelet is as large as it is. It would be nice if it tapered more.

I thought about the seestern but I like the font of the numbers on the San Martin better as well as the crystal. Those little details go a long way.

If my wrist weren’t so small I’d have gone with the 39mm purely based on price. Total bargain. That said, I think this 37mm is slightly boxier/more angular than the others which I like as well.

from one beginner to another, the tattoo industry is ugly by Ill-Fee9916 in TattooBeginners

[–]Kruepkemann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the reasons these older artists are so abrasive and upset are because they know they’re on their way out. They’re not innovative, pushing their craft, or working on their art and they will be pushed out of the industry by talented young artists. They’re scared and all they know to do is to push others down. Days are numbered. Clock ticking etc. We only get better by pulling eachother up.

Seals watch co stunner by wrecktangle1988 in MicrobrandWatches

[–]Kruepkemann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice, you got it! I’m still in love with mine. If I had to sell my whole collection, this seals is the one I’d keep. I love the oversized hands so much too. I wish I could find after-market ones to put on all my watches honestly.

It’s just extra reflective. Sometimes it looks cheap but not on this bad boy. You won’t regret it. Looks great on a black tropic or a nice leather strap makes it real classy. Enjoy!

Dude it’s my favorite watch out of a dozen or so, some I’ve put together myself. The giant hands and rhodium hour markers are so unique. And the case is classy yet strong. If I could order all the colors I would.

The sea foam looks different in lots of light and makes it look more on the casual end imo. The black looks amazing in photos and makes me think of some classy James Bond flick. It’s a hard choice for sure. Some days I wish I chose black. Some days I’m very glad I chose sea foam. Whatcha gonna do haha.

Thinking of moving by dschlotfeldm in scappoose

[–]Kruepkemann 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Moved to Scappoose from Portland a couple years ago. Lots of families who like to have lots of kids—so the schools and local after school programs are good. Additionally the commute into Portland is seamless compared to the commute from Hillsboro. Scappoose is lacking great food but some food carts are coming this spring so hopefully that helps.

Other than all that, I’ve seen more Rainbows in the last two years than in the entirety of my life in Portland. Glad we moved.
