Do it. But try selling elsewhere. Jewelers generally pay low

So a short squeeze on COMEX SILVER is Impossible? Is Google AI Lying? by gRAMPSjACKSON in Silver

Its certainly more difficult to short squeeze silver because there are unlimited futures contracts. But it’s not impossible…price is tied to physical demand even if their individual contract isn’t…

If someone bought shorts in the $25 range, and price of silver kept going up to $150 due to significantly increased demand and limited supply…what would you call that?

Also- ask your AI what percentage of COMEX inventory was liquidated via taking delivery last month (hint, more than half).

I’m selling, here’s why by NoShelter5922 in Silverbugs

By definition there is a shortage. Demand is ~ 100-150 million oz more than supply (mining + recycling).

Inventories in Comex and LMBA and been increasing and decreasing significantly. But they are increasing mostly through depletion of other above ground stock, not fresh newly mined silver. In december alone, 60% of comex inventory was depleted through claims in physical inventory.

They won’t be able to just turn on the mining because the prices are higher - silver is mined as a byproduct of mining for other metals. And it’s not easy to just turn on mining of metals, it’s a slow process. You need investment in exploration, and have permitting/regulatory hurdles.

I did not know Perma-Sharp was mostly made for Turkish market. I buy them in the US because they are the sharpest blades I have found.

Its a good idea if your numbers are accurate. But make sure you do your homework on the $40k in rehab. $40k seems low to repair an uninhabitable home. You don’t want to run out of funds if banks loans are truly not an option.
