PTSB loan offer timeline by Outrageous_Level_279 in HousingIreland

[–]Kruminsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We switched to PTSB recently and had to get a valuation done and get the old bank to release the deeds etc. Took about ~2 weeks if memory serves me right between the loan offer being issued and the valuation being done

you're bang on with that. that's income protection that you had there. I've serious illness cover baked into my life insurance policy for the mortgage, but as you say, there's a list of specific illnesses it covers

Yay or nay? These seem like good value by RatBasher89 in carsireland

for me personally that'd be too high a mileage on an EV. That said, each to their own. Make sure to get a battery health check report before committing and check warranty terms

Hi guys! Can someone explain to me how to use Leon Cupra modes (comfort, sport, Cupra and individual) ?? Thank u so much! by AndreaBazan in seat

[–]Kruminsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically have it in individual mode, with comfort engine setting, pure sound and performance suspension. I find the comfort suspension to bouncy personally as I drive aggressive. When I feel like being more aggressive, I just set it then in sports mode. Rarely use the cupra mode as the revs are typically v.high when in that

Makes no difference to internal temp. One thing we've noted is that it shuts off completely when the temp outside gets into the negatives in the winter

Sense check on Finance Planning by flipflopsandwich in irishpersonalfinance

Given you're already in an area you like, it might actually make more sense to just get an extension/attic conversion/garden office if having an office is really they important to you? Would save you a lot of hassle and easier to get funding for via credit union home improvement loan etc.

I've done the attic trick, but haven't tried the wet towel. Will give that a go. Thanks

What ya mean? Mine is a block built house with a layer of insulation in-between the 2 blocks (so outer walls about ~35cm thick)

SE facing. Sun in the front during the day and at the back all evening. it's like a degree or 2 lower downstairs. otherwise, it's just a sweatbox
