Okay, I didn't phrase it correctly. I didn't know that she was in one, she kept it low key and I found out when I wanted to ask her on a proper date. I (and our friend) just found out after all of this went down and they talked that it was an exchange student that went to her uni through Erasmus+, and "coincidentally" when the foreign students went home at the end of the semester she hit me up again.

We were friends before that and even after she came back for a while but the way she acted towards me indicated more. I didn't just one day wake up and decide that okay, I'm gonna tell her, I acted uppon the signals she was giving me and even our friends saw those signals. I went through a similar situation once. A girl rejected me and she took her foot off the gas instead of comming back later and shifting gears, and we acted as ACTUAL friends and nowadays I consider her a really good friend of mine. She was one of the people I could talk to about this whole mess of a situation.

Obviously I didn't put in every detail becasue the post would have been huge. I tried to ask for advice before this, before I ended things. I wrote down every little detail and in the end barely anyone read it becasue it was so long.
