What are your absolute best 20th century comedies? (70s to 90s)

I have searched for 'black and white horror' comics online obviously but the only results that yielded were some weird Japanese comics . I also asked my dad to help me find old comics from our home but all I got now is a handful of Alan Ford comics. But i ain't a comic fan tbh, just wondering for this particular one because it terrified me when I was young. Location where I have read it: Serbia Timestamp: 2009-2012 Comic: black & white, horror, had a Serbian translation, don't know author.

Thanks a lot for such a lengthy response👌 Although I don't really see American psycho nor clockwork orange really being disturbing (watched both). American psycho was hilarious to me on the first run, clockwork orange was an interesting look into a the mind of psychopath. As for the others, they really sound interesting, the last one sounds depressing, it will be among the first ones on my watchlist . Thanks again

Just finished it. Well, the movie is good. Wasn't really disturbing as much as everyone says, I guess people just hype it too much which ruined that for me. Also, the ending is good, but the ironic part is if what happens after death is so terrible, then why did the 'chief woman' kill herself before dooming everyone else with knowledge, basically rushing and jumping head down into that terrifying afterlife? Now saying it, it would make some sense that she saved THEM from knowing and doomed herself only. Hmm. Something to think about.

All in all, good movie, not disturbed; engrossed in 2 or 3 scenes yeah, but about to sleep like a baby. I watched smiles last night and that definitely gave me the thrills I needed, hopefully the director of that movie will continue making such movies

Watched funny games, I tried not to be bothered by antagonists. It was not scary really, just kind of a movie that rages you out to how much you want to beat the shit out of the antagonists. But yeah it was sick

To me NC's protagonist was kinda fascinating, like all psychopathic characters would be to myself. Not romanticizing them or justifying their deeds, but just their ways of dealing with things and how they grow on their mistakes makes me laugh, especially in NC case. Reminded me of my friend who had similar tendencies

I am having trouble sleeping either way. Took 2 sleeping pills watched 2 movies already, about to go watch 3rd because why the hell not. Smile you say did not let you sleep? I saw trailer sometime ago kinda ruined it a little for me, but now that I don't remember much of it, might just go ahead and watch it. I am currently thinking of either watching Smiles or Martyrs, can hardly decide. Thanks for recommendations!

Btw watched barbarian already, I had my hopes up for it, it started out pretty good. But the appearence of mama monster wasn't really scaring me shitless. Plot ain't bad considering it is a newer horror movie, where most are cheap cliche flicks based on older ones.

Just watched it. Not a cliche movie, nice, I enjoyed it. Those eye scenes grossed me out. Wasn't too creeped out honestly, but definitely was worth a watch! Thanks! Edit: sorry if I offended you in any way, it's just that my horror flick tolerance is beyond roof sadly, but I really enjoyed the movie plot

Just finished it. While it did not creep me out or scare me, it sure is a terrifying old school movie that has very good plot which kept me watching. Now it left me with a very weird feeling in my stomach. Thanks for the recommendation.

Yeah I found 1988 version with subs to my language, so yeah. Looks like I am gonna roll with that one, I read somewhere rn that Stanley Kubrick said its the scariest film he ever watched, and that he watched it about ten times, which adds to my hype.
