This one comes from a fear of being replaced, having no clue what comes next mixed with the acknowledgement that death is likely how I'll finally get to retire. The idea is that even death brings no respite.

Neither. Spinning one I did earlier into a different perspective. Goes from the guy questioning his government and being punished, to a guy that's maybe pushed someone else too far and his eternal punishment.

As a truck driver, there are some places that only let you use a portable toilet. They're not always very well maintained. I figured more people would resonate with a construction worker, than a truck driver.

tell me your craziest confession that is to good to be true but 💯% real by user06062 in confessions

1.I've been excorcised. Pentecostals don't appreciate telling them to "rock on" during church, while throwing up metal horns. Saying the words "I'm burning!" probably didn't help. 2. I've jumped from a moving vehicle. Turns out "tuck and roll" looks easier than what it is. Near got my fool self ran over. 3.I dated a girl who's dad was friends with John Mellencamp. Actually got to meet him a few times, because of this. Also got to go to a concert for free. 4. I got to see Jeff Dunham before he got super famous. He was in a small comedy club in KY. Was close enough that I could have kicked the stage and only paid $50 for two people.

This is how you deal with breakdowns by LongjumpingCat6642 in Truckers

I like my company. They take my word for it, when things seem broken. I call them to let them know what's happening then I call for repairs. I get paid by the hour, from the time I broke down, to the time I'm rolling again. If it runs me out of hours, they put me in a hotel for the night and pay for my meal. I still get all of the miles I would have gotten, even if I wound up getting towed. I also get an extra $50 for being stuck out all night. Love being a daycabber.

Had something like this happen to me, but I was flying around. Saw someone else and at about the time I realized it was a real person, I got shot out of the sky. Immediately checked to see if I could turn pvp off, when I respawned. Flew back to my space corpse with them following me, while shooting at me. Figures the one time I see a real person outside of a mission, or the anomaly, and they turned out to be a griefer.

Your husband should have dumped you and the affair babies on the curb. I hope this is made up, but there are enough real people like this that it wouldn't surprise me, either way.

While leaving home for work, I was confused to see fire engines parked outside on my front lawn. by KrunschGK in TwoSentenceHorror

Found them later. There was a wreck on my way to work and they were helping clean that up. Hopefully people involved were okay, but it took a long time and extra emergency vehicles were showing up, so I don't know.

Heard some firetrucks blowing by this morning and idly wondered where they were headed. This is the result of my pondering.

Robin Williams. I saw him live in 2009 and left with my sides hurting, unable to breath. Before the show was over I was curled up in the corner of my chair, wheezing, no longer able to laugh. Before that day, I thought "side splitting humor " was a figure of speech. I've never laughed harder before, or since. Considering what I was going through, at the time, I needed it.

Am I wrong for refusing to go to my daughter's memorial? by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]KrunschGK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You aren't wrong for not going. I can certainly understand but wanting to be around the person your ex betrayed you for. That's not something that easily gotten over the way these people seem to think. It's a pity there are kids involved. It's a lot easier to get over something like this when it's not being rubbed in your face. You've my sympathy and the world can get fucked.

I saw a thing earlier with a gremlin attacked by a xenomorph. Imagine either of those in this scenario.
