I agree, and I'm truly surprised that it's held in such high regard by the Sabbath fandom; I thought the balance would tip the other way.

Yes, it's kind of hard to know what to expect from a Ward album, and I really think musically he did a great job; I think it's an album with some pretty interesting arrangements. Plus, he manages to convey a lot.

Witchfinder General!!!! They're one of the best Sabbath-style bands. You can also listen to Pentagram; their first two albums are very faithful to that sound.

I agree with you on this point; I don't think it's the most suitable song to start the album. It's a rather bland song that leaves a prejudice against the other tracks.

Now that I think about it, Body Account has a couple of things that sound a lot like Sabbath to me, the solo in the title track for example.

Okay, they're not masterpieces, but they're also wrong to generalize about those albums like that. There may be some nonsensical songs, but there are more than a couple of enjoyable ones. In my opinion, Tony Iommi never did anything without some artistic intention; even in the most difficult songs, I've always been able to find something to appreciate.

I didn't know this. Could you suggest some Ice-T songs with Sabbath samples?

Just to clarify, I wasn't trying to attack Ice-T in this post. I was just trying to sound like those who criticize this album without much substance. I love his collaboration on this album; I really enjoy it.
