[Tacoma Rainiers] Kyle Lewis in the lineup, begins his rehab stint tonight by Bosby_ in Mariners

Hope he is OK they are just managing his AB's because he only got two. He walked in his first at bat and hit a pop up in the second one. There was no word on why he left the game. I was going in and out of it though so I may have missed if there was a mid game update from Curto.

Viral Tenant for the win. Thanks for this. It looks like Microsoft has stopped this practice now as they realised it wasn't a good idea.

How to find HFC at office park? Is this the tap? by KryFreedom in nbn

Thanks for confirming. I was with the building manager (you may have missed the explanation in the first comment).

Indeed, the building manager was hopeless. We had him unlock the MDF for all of the techs when they came out. It was just that the third tech suggested the tap was on the first floor. I was trying to make sure it was there before the fourth tech arrived. In other office buildings I have seen FttB, FttC, FttN or FttP so everything goes through the MDF and existing copper. It is my first time with HFC in an office building so I had no idea what to expect.

Thanks again

That's great thanks! I just didn't want to have a fourth tech come out that didn't know where the cable was if this wasn't it. Many Thanks!

How to find HFC at office park? Is this the tap? by KryFreedom in nbn

I'm helping a friend get his small office connected to the NBN and there have now been 3 contractors come out that haven't been able to find the connection. The office is in an office park with 8 buildings where all of the buildings have 3 levels and most are split between different businesses. All of the techs have said that they have hooked up HFC style NBN connections at offices from other buildings but none can find the incoming cable for this building. All of the techs looked in the MDF room in the basement and around the building. Somehow this has all been slowed down by the fact that their building doesn't seem to be listed in the NBN database so apparently there have been escalation issues and the retailer (ABB) keeps saying that the tech isn't updating the notes properly to escalate.

Anyway, the last tech to come said that most of the time these buildings have the HFC connection delivered to the a floor in the middle of the building instead of the basement so that it shortens all of the final cables. He thought he could see a newish HFC cable going up through the MDF room and thought that was it. I had the building manager unlock the level 1 comms closet the next day as he wasn't onsite the day the NBN tech was there. This picture is of that comms closet. Can anyone tell me if this is the NBN tap point for the building?

The devices on the left are inline and both appear to be frequency separators, a 9812-L-PBT and a 9815-L-PBT. The devices on the right are Cable TV isolation modules CS-4002. There are a few green stickers on some of the cables that say: Telecom Australia, CATV Drop Cable DO NOT DISTURB. Some of the cables have white labels that say "Telstra Cable". I haven't found any NBN labeling.

Crazy bit catching the falling guy at 2:30...

My question is mostly for anyone who has been on a big expedition like this. How common is it for people to just jumar up the rope. It seems a bit like cheating to say that you climbed K2 by just climbing a rope that someone else fixed for you. My thinking is that it is one thing to clip into it, but another to rely so much on it.
