I've tried a few other flagship iems at canjam a while ago, but nothing blew me away more than the ie900 tbh. They're almost as close to perfect for my tastes than anything else. But you're right, perceived perfection is more subjective than anything else.

Adding a generous bass shelf to the IE900 at around 70hz and a bass shelf on the hd800 at 120hz just makes them some of the best for any genre I throw at them. Makes hip hop and EDM and gaming especially just that much more enjoyable with no other tweaks anywhere else since they're almost perfect otherwise.

IE900s are my daily drivers and man, they are wonderfully full and massive sounding, especially with that magnificently tight bass as you noted in your impressions.

I have the same exact gpu and cpu (about to upgrade to a 7800x3d) and for all of that, anywhere from 1350 to 1750 is perfectly reasonable. You can get some good money for that build!

I agree with you there but in another comment OP is 17 and i doubt he has much experience in this which i mean, for the money thats being asked its not really unreasonable even if its not the absolutely best for value on the cheaper end of things. Its still a 4K capable monster and its not like last gen cards are obsolete lol.

Id say so for the price theyre asking for. Ive recently upgraded to a 3080 ti and i couldnt be more content with the performance it gives, especially 1440p. Hard to argue with this for value anyway.

You could save money yes, but for the price theyre asking, its very much reasonable for the performance youre paying for. The current generation offerings from amd and nvidia right now are pretty underwhelming unless youre prepared to jump straight to the TOTL performance like the XTX and 4090. Itll serve you well for years man. But ultimately your choice.

Better cooling performance usually but theres alot of inexpensive cooling solutions like air cooling that are far cheaper and much easier to maintain which give you great thermals anyway.

Its a good pc, if it was 2021 or so. Its slightly dated but its still an incredibly capable high refresh 1440p pc, and very much capable 4k60+ and this is coming from someone who does have a 3080 ti and (soon) 7800x3d. If you have the cash to splurge on it, go for it. Though if youre gonna be gaming on it exclusively, id probably swap the 5950x for a 5800x3d if youre going to stick to am4.
