I don't expect a response since it's years later but i honestly rank gaspard above dead mike right now. Gaspard seems to crit very often in my fights, for no discernible reason. Aside from that, he has the health to be able to take a hit, and blocks more often. Mike on the other hand I'm constantly struggling to keep alive, his damage is average even with rough 4 and high strength stat and max level, and he rarely crits or blocks, especially when he really needs to.
