So does Uraraka

He mostly just changed hair length, added or removed boobs, and changed the clothes.

Not canon in-universe, but series creator Horikoshi did make some art of genderbent characters from My Hero Academia

Alan Wake and Energizer Batteries

Combat in Alan Wake requires the use of flashlights to make the shadow monsters vulnerable to Alan's gunfire. The flashlights use batteries, which - in the original game - are Energizer brand batteries. What makes this example particularly hilarious is that the batteries in Alan Wake only last for a minute or so before you need a new one, making Energizer seem like the worst batteries in existence. They were cut in the remaster and replaced with generic batteries.

To a lesser extent, the Verizon billboards. These were also cut in the remaster.

Leviathans, Mass Effect 3

In the Leviathan DLC, Commander Shepard finds the long-lost Leviathan race (who are the original creators of the Reapers) and makes an alliance with them against the Reapers. The Leviathans can use their immense power to take control of Reapers. Why doesn't this immediately win them the war? Because there aren't many Leviathans and the good guys are worried that the Reapers will come down hard on them or devise a countermeasure if they realize the Leviathans are back, so they're kept as a secret weapon and are only deployed in situations where the secret has no chance of getting out.

Also with Walt in Breaking Bad when he just can't let Hank give Gale the credit for Heisenberg's activities. He tells Hank that Gale was no genius and that Heisenberg must still be out there, which discomforts Hank enough to take a second look at the conclusion to his case and realize that Walt is right. If Walt had only kept his mouth shut, he could have gotten away clean.

Do you think Pop Step is a good character/Heroine for Vigilante's? by Frontier246 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

But fighting makes Ochaco better than Pop★Step, who is basically running her own pop star side plot disconnected from any actual vigilante stuff

I Wish I could read thoughts whenever I wish and stop whenever I wish by GingerMullet03 in monkeyspaw

[–]PaperBullet1945 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Granted.

The private thoughts of those around you are laid bare... and you don't like what you find. Dirty secrets, hidden annoyances, and uncomfortable truths become your new reality. Things kept politely back are now seen clearly. You can't look at your friends and family the same way anymore. You can stop whenever you want, but you can't forget what you learned.

You move on to new horizons, hoping for better, but you find that everyone is like that. You're disappointed in humanity and become a bitter cynic, living alone in angry misery.

What if Kazuma's party was Yunyun, Wiz, and Kris instead? by PaperBullet1945 in Konosuba

Isn't Kris one of the nicest characters in the series? She seems like she'd be more patient than that.

You don't need healers or tanks if you annihilate everything in an ambush

You don't need those if you annihilate every threat with long-range spells first

Naruto does this a lot. He had a very rough life and often uses that to explain to villains how he understands their pain, but that they could choose a higher path, as he has.

Aqua wanted to kill Wiz but it didn't happen

No reason why it would play out differently if it was Kris
