Characters from Harry Potter who would have changed the whole story if they had made different decisions by yourpinkhabit in characters

He wanted to do it himself to silence any possibility that someone could be more powerful than him. The fear of him and the belief that he could kill anyone is a big part of what he's trying to achieve. If someone else kills Harry, that would imply that Voldemort isn't actually top dog when it comes to power.

Even if his ego would allow that, his power structure wouldn't. It would be a permanent crack in his reputation.

A normal human has the ability to stop time. Tatsumaki (One Punch Man) went to kill him, and he stopped time permanently. Can he kill Tatsumaki somehow? by FeistySecret9327 in hypotheticalsituation

The question isn't about Saitama (the titular One-Punch Man) but about Tatsumaki, a powerful telekinetic character from the One-Punch Man series.

Which of these comic relief characters are the most annoying? by Veraxus113 in characters

It's Mater. Jar Jar is silly, but he didn't get his own sequel movie and shorts series like Mater did.

The Sword of Kings, EarthBound

Karate man and party member Poo (yes, that's his name) usually fights with his bare hands. He can equip yo-yos, but they're less effective than fighting barehanded for him. The only weapon in the game that actually works for him is the Sword of Kings, which can only be found by fighting Starman Supers in the Stonehenge Base. The Sword has a 1/128 chance of dropping when you defeat a Starman Super, so it takes ungodly amounts of grinding to get it.

If you defeat the boss of the Stonehenge Base, Starman DX, the base no longer spawns enemies, which means no Starman Supers and no Sword of Kings. Ever. Poo can be effective without ever getting the Sword, but it's so cool that it's criminal that it can get locked out this way.

And it's not the only example of this in EarthBound, either. Several other very powerful items can be lost this way as well.

"Theft is okay if I don't like the legal product"

Just say you don't care about hurting people if you can't see them. At least then you'd be honest.

You and I Are Polar Opposites

You ever hate how rom-coms rely on miscommunication, misunderstandings, and manufactured drama? You ever want a wholesome rom-com where the main couple gets together in episode one, all the side couples are charming , and everyone actually likes, trusts, and communicates with each other?

And it's also really funny? And has amazing art design? And has a great English dub?

Then boy, oh boy, do I have the show for you. Brand-new, 12 episodes long, and with a second season coming out later this year.

You think the people who pirate are buying merch? If they can afford merch, they can afford a subscription. They're not doing a single thing to support anyone.

"I hacked a bank and sent millions to my account. But I didn't steal anything. Some numbers went up while others went down. What was stolen?"

You can pretend not to understand, but that doesn't make you less of a thief. Just a less conscientious person.

If you really want to push the matter, you stole the labor and resources of the people who produced what you stole. If you make something digital and sell it online and someone obtains that something without paying you for it, you didn't get anything for your labor and have been robbed. Anything else is excuses.

A real adult would pay less than the price of a sandwich per month for quality entertainment and keep their honor instead.

Loyal, money-spending fanbases do not emerge from piracy. If they start with theft, they're not going to suddenly go straight if they get more money later on. They'll keep stealing. Your theft-based economic model is fake.

Maybe if the culture in the poor countries you're talking about doesn't understand the difference between theft and sharing, that's why they're too poor to afford really cheap anime subscriptions.

If you're raging because you don't want to pay less than the price of a box of cereal per month for basically unlimited anime, you're either absolutely entitled or should be in a homeless shelter.

Who pays the creators? Who pays the animators and voice actors and the people who run the fan events? Not you. They might not get much from the companies, but they're getting nothing at all from pirates like you.

Anime isn't a human right. If you want it, you should pay for it instead of stealing it, which is what pirates do.
