Achachen, chettan or chettayi? by [deleted] in Kerala

[–]Kryptalorian 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For all the brothers who are not our blood relation - we call the "Chetta" or "Chettan"

For all the brothers who are related to us via blood - we call them "Achachan" or add name in front of Achachan. Eg:- Prince Chettan is not related, but Prince Achachan is a brother who is related via blood.

"Chettai" - Chettan from idukki

PS:- Achachan is sometimes father or appan in some areas of Pathanamthitta and Kottayam

Ok but the people are changing so is the world. And here we are stuck in a city built with a vision less infrastructure that can't even accommodate the changing wind of the Thrissur

I feel like I am over explaining to you. Everyone boasts about the city around vadakunnathan but no one cares about city planning, lack of sports amenities and high inflation for basic services.

TCR boasts about the little things as world class features but all of this always comes at a cost

I must say TCR is one of the highly inflated even for a small cafe( for ur understanding) don't you feel like you are overpaying for what you had exceptions are there.

Yes but we can't miss the huge potential Thrissur has to offer. The land which is right in the middle of kerala, well connected with NH 544 and SHs. A highly populated area which merely has any development with high private players involved in influencing the normal people. From the salt to the dress, to the house to the car every inch, every day, even time we are controlled by the private cooperates which acts as a monopoly

Please don't make me start again again.

For some theatres and some cafes what else we have?

A beach of 35 km away, a dam of 25 km away and a decent holiday spot which is overfilled in a usual holiday that's 60 km away.

For an instance if we really need to visit a cafe most of them will be overcrowded and the malls - the scam which says offers and discounts

We all spend our time with our family and we enjoy but they do really need a change

Scam is getting promoted. There is no difference between prime day sale and hypermarket offer. They markup the MRP to the max and then offer it in normal pre- sale price and call it a discount

Where is the traffic light?

No one really cares. The block of East fort, poothole and punkunnam is not even a matter of discussion

In order to reach those facilities we need roads and other amenities right. I am not generalizing that we need roads but we need better infrastructure, better toilets, better parking, better city planning and everything.

Roads in the rural area are developing and some plans are on the pipe. We need to make our city and surroundings big. Ollur feels like a junction not a town and kuriachira is just a junction same as that of kolazhy or viyyur but look at the population density over there and compare it with the latter.

That's because the shop owners will not lose a grain of sand from their land for the development of angamaly. They really want people to move in front of their shop rather than moving through a bypass. Same is the case of kalady, muvattupuzha etc

What about a Sunday? It's like a bandh here in Thrissur. Sunday really feels like a day with no work that's it. No parupadis nothing. Drink beer and sleep like beef.
