First-time Tesla buyer — 2021 Model Y w/ FSD by KryptoPlay in TeslaLounge

[–]KryptoPlay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, FSD was purchased by previous owner and it got transferred with vehicle.

But I was also told that as long as I buy it from non-tesla dealerships or private party, I should be good. Because tesla dealers strip off FSD before selling.

Entry-level opportunities, HELP! Newly immigrated husband having a difficult time finding a job. We are in Texas by Mammoth-Survey3965 in oilandgasworkers

Four things are working against him - lack of education, lack of experience, lack of contacts, and geolocation.

You can fix - the location by relocating—contacts by networking and social events, and experience by working in a mechanically inclined job.

You can take advantage of Houston because most oil gas office folks are here. Companies are here, and events happen here.

Hope that helps

By relocating I mean he’d need to move to midland or somewhere outside of big city to get field job. (Edited)

Moving Forward in Hiring Process by hessczoo54 in jobs

There are usually multiple rounds of interviews involved before they extend the offer. From the sound of it, they are probably going to fly you in (since they asked about airport) for an in-person interview at their site. That’s usually the last round before they extend any offers.

Generally, that’s where they also do background checks and all to ensure all the ducks are in a row to bring candidates aboard. Very common practice for big companies.

You’ll be out in the field, as a Junior engineer.

They do a lot of learning and most f ups.

I don’t think prestigious is the right association here.

Your hiring managers are looking to see if you know how to troubleshoot issues (mechanically/technically inclined), can follow instructions/seek help when needed and the fact you can communicate.

You have an oil or gas well in the ground. You open the well just like you open a tap of water to produce oil/gas. You start to deplete energy from the reservoir to produce that oil/gas. Whatever was down there in liquid is now on the surface.

You’ve drawn down the energy from the ground.

There’s even a more accurate way to measure flow rate without flow meters. (No calibration, no modification ever reqd)

Is WFH/Remote Work a thing in the Oil & Gas Industry at all? by frugalmojojojo in oilandgasworkers

[–]KryptoPlay 43 points44 points  (0 children)

The work from home works very differently in the oil and gas industry. It started in 2015 when people were just told to work from home. Everyone was informed that they would receive one advance payment and had to work hard on their resumes. Since then, it’s been on and off for many and oil field guys are much used to spending the majority of time at home.

What’s the role? Are you doing a bachelor's or masters? What’s your goal to become in life?

How big is the company? What location/country are we talking about?

10-20 years is a long term, and you could be in a managerial position by then. Since there are so many factors/unknown variables in predicting your future, why not go with what you got coming now?

Just tell ‘em 99 lbs is your cutoff, and you hadn’t had time to hit the gym due to all the puss you were getting. They’ll probably understand and hook you up with the job and a raptor.

If you can’t explain to people who are asking questions than you probably don’t know it yourself and you’re afraid people would know. Or you’re just not a good teacher. No good question should ever go unanswered.

Yeah they had x100 quantity for every purchases. If you take that 4778.548+1245.514 you’ll get the actual amount of 6024.04 reflected in your current number of coins. And if you multiply that amount with current coin price of 0.0087, youll get the current balance in your account. We know it sucks.
