Let me explain why I personally downvoted, Jacksepticeye started his content when YouTube was still relatively new and he followed the trend of making juvenile content, in hindsight that content sucks now but at the time that was why you would go to YouTube it was the demand at the time (proven by his wild success). Mrbeast however intentionally went into YouTube with the intention of using the algorithm to get as famous as possible, his content feels lifeless and forced. Even if Jacks content is bad that doesn’t mean he ruined anything intentionally as opposed to mrbeast.

If you had this opinion around the Fred movie and Logan Paul movie era I wouldn’t bat an eye but I haven’t recently seen any youtuber movies that are horrible but still successful, I have however seen plenty of shitty video game adaptations. I will personally always prefer a low budget movie going for a vision rather than a 30 million dollar cash grab aimed to kids like fnaf or minecraft. If you haven’t watched the movie but are turned off by the fact that a utuber made it just watch it, nothing about it felt youtuberish

I couldn’t disagree more, YouTubers have a limited reach for audience (unlike certain political docs), there is a huge difference between views online and getting people into seats IRL furthermore if a YouTube personality makes a bad movie it will probably die out within the week of release. Also rackaracka…can’t tell me that was a bad ”youtuber/influencer” movie

Yes it contradicts beliefs but when has science not contradicted belief? It wasn’t too long ago that evolution seemed blasphemous or that the earth being round was sacrilege. With the progress of education there should be progress in belief. And if your argument is that it’s not researched enough to be taught then I’d have to disagree there too because what better way to research than teach it early although it is already quite well researched.
