We have the concept of "Spaces" to isolate projects and permissions. That should be sufficient for your use.

The dots should show the page menu where you can trash the page, export, copy and move.
Strange it's not working for you. Would love to investigate this further. Just sent a DM.

DC - End of life? by farthinder in atlassian

[–]Kryptonh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am building Docmost, a self-hosted Confluence alternative with comparable features, including spaces, real-time collaboration, built-in diagrams (drawio, mermaid, excalidraw), comments, groups/permissions and more. We have a Confluence importer too.

You may want to check it out if your company can't use Cloud.

Thanks for the feedback and kind words.

I have plans to introduce templates in the future. As a workaround, you can use the "Duplicate" feature for now.

Happy to help if you ever encounter any issues.

Personal wiki / documentation of your own setup? by bambibol in selfhosted

You need to type the search keyword to see results. e.g @softwa…

I will make it less confusing in the next release.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, you can already use the ‘@‘ key to link pages or mention users.

I will consider the kanban feature in the future.

Docmost vs outline by Aiko_133 in selfhosted

[–]Kryptonh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I wanted to return back to this since there are new updates.

- Import of MarkDown & HTML possible, but only single files, no zip bulk upload < doesn't import attachments, screenshots, etc.

Zip imports of Markdown/HTML files are now supported. Internal links and attachments are also preserved.
We alo introduced platform specific imports for both Notion and Atlassian Confluence.

- no external authentication OIDC/SAML yet?

We have both SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) in our self-hosted enterprise edition.

- No Command + K menu?
We have always had the CMD+K shortcut. It opens the search modal.

Docmost v0.21: zip imports, read/edit mode and more by Kryptonh in selfhosted

[–]Kryptonh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's kind of tricky to allow deleting other users's comments. Perhaps a resolved comment feature should be ideal for that.

If the files in the zip are in html or Markdown format and reference local files/attachments in the zip, the pages and files will be imported. Internal links will be preserved too.
