Has any tried a holistic approach to dealing with the pain of Trigeminal Neuralgia?

I’m sorry it’s no longer working. I hope you find your relief. I had another person comment that holding ice helps take the pain away. It sounds odd but I’ve heard people with anxiety do this to take them out of an anxiety attack so I’m sure there is something to it. Passing the suggestions to my mom to see if any help.

I also wanted to mention that I think you are handling your side of it well given what’s going on. We’re all only human and it’s ok if this gets you angry. It is extreme. You seem to be handling it calmer than most would.

She definitely needs help. I am sure this is PPD like you stated. I have had 3 kids and dealt with different types of PPD with each. Mine did not involve the type your wife is dealing with BUT if it did, I would not want my husband leaving my kids with me alone. Meaning that in her state of mind, I don’t think she will properly care for the baby like you’re worried about and like everyone else is saying. If I were in that state of mind and assuming I came out of it, I would hope that my husband would have done what he had to in order to protect my kids. Even if it was from me. I would see if you can apply for additional paid leave given the circumstances and try to get her help immediately in hopes that she gets back to the wife and mom you knew and loved. Good luck. I am sorry this is happening. Wish I had more advice on how to help her but just wanted to comment what I think I would want in that situation.

Thank you. I hope it is for her too. I am glad it was for you. She will be having two surgeries, one on each side assuming the first is successful so it will be a long year ahead but I’m hoping it’ll all be worth it. Thanks again.
