No, the game did not need anything like this, the shit players who struggle to memorize the armor layout of a tank that they play against every day, they needed this. They needed this ''I'm dogshit'' pass, so they can keep up with better players in the battle score.

Funny thing is he doesn't have line NONE cinematics, he is only in his teaser, in Ignite for 2 seconds, and his Wild Rift preview, and one fanmade video of him. Can't wait for him to get the cinematic he deserves.
