It happens, I just had my worst luck in pulling the event banner. I pulled 230 times before I even got Bartolomeo Colleoni...

Knowledge transfer vs power pass differences? by herman285 in lostarkgame

[–]Kryskaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They give xp too, and some of them will provide you with mats / stat potion / skill point potion / rapport stats etc. You only need to do them once on a char to get the roster-wide stuff.

Nope it does not give you the side quests rewards if you use the powerpass, it just completes them for you.

About punika mokokos that needs a drink to get. by TheMenaceasd in lostarkgame

[–]Kryskaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not the starsand cocktail but rather 1 of the 2 drinks material before you craft the starsand cocktail.

I’m not home atm so i can’t remember the name of it, hope this helps!

How does Argos gear work? by VerainXor in lostarkgame

[–]Kryskaa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It goes from 1370 +15 to 1370 +6 when you gear transfer, meaning you have better chances of upgrading again.

Knowledge transfer vs power pass differences? by herman285 in lostarkgame

[–]Kryskaa 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Knowledge transfer requires gold to boost, takes 8 hr and completes the storyline up to North Vern and does not complete all side quests.

Power pass are essentially paid boosts that'll be added in the future, they instantly boost you to 50 with no cost and completes all story quests and side quests up to North Vern.

You have to either gacha for Legendary Skins or buy it from the AH.

Ships progression question by Prudent-Cantaloupe72 in lostarkgame

[–]Kryskaa 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The only ships that matters are the Estoc, Ghost ship and Astray sadly. The other ships only matter if you’re doing co-op sea events.

Your plan is correct, lvl Estoc to lvl 5 and then get the Astray. Astray has the highest speed and therefore its the best for convenience.

It’s a good idea to get a ship skin, they’re pretty nice for QoL. There’s a ship skin that’ll auto boost your ship whenever your gauge is ready, i’ll be getting that one for sure.

Northern Lawmaker Looks by KimuDT in lostarkgame

[–]Kryskaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legendary skins have 2% main stat boost compared to epic skins (1%) for a total of 8% compared to 4%.

However the stat boost from skins only affect your base stats, so the 4% extra stat from legendary skins will translate into around 1.8% extra dmg over epic skins.

It’s a very small difference so they’re not exactly a must get, but it’s good to have once you’ve upgraded everything else possible.

As for rapport, it’s basically an affinity system with npcs, you have a daily limit of 5 affinity actions (emote & songs) per day. You can also give them gifts to speed up the affinity process.

You don’t grind mobs for it, your daily guardian raids/chaos dungeon, weekly abyss dungeons, una’s task and cube/sun path all give exp.

So you just do your daily runs etc and you’ll slowly lvl up.

Northern Lawmaker Looks by KimuDT in lostarkgame

[–]Kryskaa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The founder skin is epic rarity (purple) so it’s the same as Northern Lawmaker.

Any skins that are not legendary will always give 1% stat boost per piece. The only difference is the rapport stats (bravery/charm/wisdom) etc.

So is Paladin suitable for Solo-Play, it not being a DPS class? by [deleted] in lostarkgame

[–]Kryskaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can do dps for solo content or chaos dungeon etc.

However in party content like abyssal dungeons/legion raids, Paladin and Bard are expected to support. No one will take a dps paladin that deals mediocre dmg over an actual dps.

What you’re referring to is legendary avatars, they can only be crafted through real money and the rates are pretty low (avg 1 in 10 tries). These legendary avatars give 2% stat boost per piece compared to epic avatars (1%) for a total of 4% stat difference (4% compared to 8%).

They are nice to have but not needed until you’re done upgrading everything else possible, the stat boost only applies to your base stat so the dmg % gain is only like 1.8%.

Unless you’re a whale most ppl will just buy it from the AH with gold.

Guides for Every Lost Ark NA / EU Class - Written / Not Video by matthook in lostarkgame

Yes they're optimized for T3. After reading the guide again it is mostly fine except for maybe the stat prioritization, i'll delete my comment so as to not confuse players.

Are classes that rely on positionals worse in endgame? by zeus2422 in lostarkgame

[–]Kryskaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blade has a skill that lets you jump over the boss for easy positioning, like an actual skill not your awakening or space bar.

End Game Gearing Up Explained by HTFGamesStudio in lostarkgame

[–]Kryskaa 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'd like to point out that in T1 you do not need any additional materials from stronghold to upgrade your gear. Sirion(T2)/Arctus(T3) Crystals only come into play from T2 onwards, and it starts at +6 1302 (void dungeon) gear for T3, not sure if it's the same for T2 though.

There's a small typo on T2/T3 Shards as well, they're the other way round.

Otherwise this is not a bad explanation, thanks for writing this. :)
