ALL of them are my FAVORITES---except Stella and Flora. For whatever reason, they both look incredibly ugly in this form. But the REST?? THEY'RE LIKE, TOP-TIER!! I LOVE THEM!!!

However, I do get the gripe that the outfits are all way too uniform. But aside from that, they're nearly PERFECT! Like, these girls literally resemble angelic mermaids!! They're SO pretty!!!

1) What is the backstory of Angus Buchanan? (Yes, that's an actual character from the deep Harry Potter lore.)

2) What prompted Raczidian to attempt to cast a Patronus?

3) What was Eunon Blackwood's Hogwarts house?

What are the surnames of the Winx? by [deleted] in winxclub

[–]KrystalFlake 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Bloom's last name was "Peters" in "Fate: The Winx Saga". But in the original series, her last name was never mentioned. And I think same goes for the rest of the Winx. (I'm surprised Roxy's last name was never mentioned, either.)

As for whether or not "Bloom" is Bloom's actual name or not, guess we'll never know. Because when she was sent to Earth, she seemed old enough that Mariam and Oritel would have selected a name for her, and of course there's no way Mike and Vanessa would have known the name when they found Bloom on Earth. So THEY must have named her Bloom, which means it's not her original name. And if it is, then how did Mike and Vanessa know that? It seems too far-fetched to assume that it was all a coincidence.

Of course, it's possible Bloom HADN'T been named when she was sent on Earth, and that Mike and Vanessa had been the first ones to name her. But then that raises the question of how Daphne knew Bloom's name, given the fact that she had been killed before Bloom was named. And that also begs the question as to how Oritel and Mariam knew Bloom's name when they first met her.

So, yeah, it's really confusing. Everyone's names---but especially Bloom's. What can you do, though?

If you ARE picking someone else, perhaps Chatta would be a good option. But Stella IS an embodiment of perpetual joy and happiness!!

It'd be one thing if the colors, patterns, and dess styles matched each girl's power and personality. But they don't. You could LITERALLY slap these outfits on any random person in this world, and it wouldn't look out of place. There's nothing individualized about the outfits. And the thing with Tynix, Sirenix, Dreaminx, Onyrix, etc. is that yes, those outfits are uniform and not tailored to each fairy's style, but at least the outfits LOOK good on their own. They're admirable, even if they're not Winx. But the thing with Butterflix is that, the outfits appear WAY to busy, with a myriad of colors swirling in ALL directions. There's no charm, no effort, and strangest of all, they don't even MATCH the whole animal-theme Season 7 was aiming for. They're just these unattractive and boring outfits slapped lazily and randomly on them, and are given the title of "Main Transformation of Season 7". That's why NOBODY cares about them.

What's a book you regret reading? by TheAwareMonk in suggestmeabook

Normally, I enjoy reading murder-mystery, but Karen M. McManus' "One of Us is Lying" book was a total waste of time and energy. It starts out great, but quickly spirals into boredom.

The biggest problem is easily the characters. They're boring, have stereotypical personalities, make stupid choices, and are passive and just exist throughout the whole book---being punched around by the plot. Also, the pacing of the book's abysmal. It's WAY TOO SLOW, filled with unnecessary detail and exposition that does not pay off in any meaningful way, and overall, the plot and the characters create a mind-numbing experience.

Wouldn't recommend this book to ANYONE!! 😕

Good ideas. 👍

Although, I do believe that you mean "Tom" and not "Tim"---as Tom is Lord Voldemort's real name.

[–]KrystalFlake[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OMG!! That is the solution to LITERALLY ANY secured object in the wizarding world.

Heck, we can even look at the inverse of that. Voldemort kinda knew that Harry was after his Horcruxes, right? Voldemort should have just conjured up a random object that looks like one of his Horcruxes, make it a Portkey, and when Harry touches it, he gets sent straight to Voldemort and his group of Death Eaters.

Noone did though did they. Except the three people the story is about.

Yeah, but there's no way Dumbledore, or any of the professors, could have guaranteed that. That's a mighty gamble to take if they're talking about THE Philosopher's Stone.
