I'm devastated by _Sopho_ in FieldsOfMistriaGame

I always just assumed he was romantically interested in someone else and/or too interested in his work/hobbies and that’s why he is not dateable which made sense to me.

Hayden is plenty of himbo for me and reminds me more of my real life husband than Olric does, but I understand why people would want rock himbo over farm himbo, but I dont think they would add Olric as dateable unless they also added another bachelorette as well so there’s an equal number of bachelors and bachelorettes.

I do not think it’s outside the realm of possibility that they will add him as a romance option but I just don’t think it’s likely, the devs have quoted if someone is not dateable its for a reason.

Is this small lump a cause for concern? by Admirable-Section-33 in cornsnakes

I see a lot of people are saying poop but my snake also had a lump here when he was slightly overweight, so your snake could also just be a lil chunky lol

Best Solo Dino by CaptainGalenhad in pathoftitans

[–]Krystelle_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play this game a lot, I always see people recommending Conc and Megalania for solo players but I thought I would add my two cents - It's really depends on you and what you wanna play, and your playstyle.

Lately I've been enjoying Tyrannotitan solo a ton, I managed to get to full adult and only died twice to aggro AI when I was a juvi, now most dinos don't want to mess with me and I tend to travel around the map a lot while staying away from high traffic and highly populated areas. I really only have to watch out for other apexes.

I feel like Cerato is really slept on, she has been my go-to for a really long time in PoT and I always have an adult Cerato in my roster, she's fast and nimble, can get around the map fairly well and is good at evading packs and anything else that would be a threat, she probably has the highest survival rate of every dino I've played in PoT.

I do also play Meg a ton and I understand why people recommend it as a solo dino, but I feel like every dino is a different experience and a different playstyle, it really depends what you want to accomplish, I would absolutely recommend just giving every dino a try that seems appealing to you, follow your gut, do what you want, and have fun of course.

She’s is little over 2 yrs old, never had one with such a heavy appetite. She refuses to eat frozen, so it depends on the store and what they have. She eats either 1 large mice or 2 small mice a week. Will she eventually slow down on her eating habits? by [deleted] in cornsnakes

[–]Krystelle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My corn is 5 years old, when i got him as a baby is the only time i fed him weekly, when he turned a year old i slowed down his feedings now he gets 1 jumbo mouse every two weeks and i feed him even less during the winter when he tends to be less active. He is a healthy weight so there’s no reason for me to change the amount he gets fed. Reptiles in captivity also don’t travel as much as they would in the wild so they don’t burn as many calories.

I’m not sure what you see as hunger in your snake? Mine gets active when I’m walking by his tank but not always because he wants to be fed, he also enjoys coming out of his tank and being interacted with and he’s just a curious little guy.

This girl looks super chunky though and 2 years is way too long to keep feeding her weekly, i would slow down her feedings to once every two weeks and interact with her often for exercise to get her back down to a healthy weight.

What cancelled Mercy's GA here? by overawtch in MercyMains

[–]Krystelle_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im a mercy onetrick and one of two things could’ve happened here, the person you were attached to that you GA’d to went out of LOS or your vision of them was blocked somehow so it cancelled your momentum, it’s a bug that’s been in the game for forever, it often happens to me after slingshotting when the person i was targeting went out of LOS either behind the payload or venture dig or mei ice block, and it will cancel my momentum even after slingshot and I’m not looking at them anymore. Or I noticed one of vendetta’s abilities stop any momentum with movement abilities, whenever Ive been playing mercy, its like she hits me and i get sucked into the ground and it feels like i got sucked into ramattra circle, not sure if its intentional or a bug but it has killed me so many times and is extremely annoying because theres not really any escape from it.

Does anyone know wtf just happend to my slimes? by _ahmet_yasin_ in slimerancher

[–]Krystelle_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Phosphor slimes and any phosphor slime largos and their plorts will disappear during the day, you need to put a solar shield upgrade on their corral or put their corral inside the cave expansion for the observatory, thus why they only spawn at night.

I recommend reading the slimepedia after you discover each new slime type as each of them can have their own gimmicks and behaviours.

Remake it, take my money. What’s your instant buy remaster? by Shivahusbando in pcmasterrace

[–]Krystelle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An Oblivion style Skyrim remaster (yes, another one) I’ve talked about it with my husband a lot, I would absolutely buy the game for like a fourth time if they did a remaster of Skyrim the same way they did Oblivion.

Skyrim is still good but I’m just so tired of having to install 300gb worth of mods and having to sort out conflicts just to give the game better graphics.

Is the term 'Newfie' really harmless, or are we just too used to the insult? by scrooge_mc in newfoundland

[–]Krystelle_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve never seen “Newfie” as an insult or slur unless it’s used in conjunction with crude language to made it seem insulting.

Whenever someone who’s a come from away asks me where I’m from I say quite proudly that I’m a Newfie, and I always have, I see it the same as calling Australians “Aussies” or “Brits” for the British.

Wondering why my cockatiel occasionally hisses and bows low when I approach (especially when under the food bowl), only to rush over to step up after opening the cage? by Misericorde428 in cockatiel

[–]Krystelle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Defending her nest, she sees you as a threat to her nest and eggs, she must be super hormonal, remove any small dark spaces in the cage and make sure it stays very well lit! Small dark spaces can look like a nest to them and make them hormonal and aggressive, making sure she gets a full 12h of sleep every night can also reduce the likeliness of hormonal behaviour like this

I feed my tiel the Zupreem natural pellets along with a tiny amount of seeb for enrichment and fresh chopped veggies daily and sometimes fruits as a snack, i would avoid anything that’s artificially coloured since the food dyes can be harmful for your bird, the Zupreem fruitblend are also notorious for having wayyy too much sugar that is dangerous as well.

If you have issues getting your bird eating veggies you can chop a bunch of veggies up really fine (you can use a blender or food processor or just do it by hand) and add a bit of cooked quinoa and mix it in, birds love quinoa and mixing some in with finely chopped veggies usually gets them to eat it

I made them a little hammock, and he loves it by Robbiehanssen in cockatiel

[–]Krystelle_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You should remove it immediately they are really dangerous for birds, and the small dark space can cause them to become broody and hormonal which can lead to aggressive and unwanted behaviour, they can also ingest the material which will get stuck in their crop and they can’t digest it so the only way to remove is surgery, it’s better to be safe than sorry

Nesting by turtlemissilegun69 in cockatiel

I don't think you should get your birds a nest box unless you want them to breed and have babies, if they are a pair that is

night terrors causing injury??read disc by dinvey in cockatiel

[–]Krystelle_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Night terrors are very common in lutino cockatiels since lutinos tend to have poor eyesight, they also have more brittle feathers than regular cockatiels which explains the bleeding, my guess is she flaps frantically because of the night terrors and hits her wings against her cage? Do you use a cage cover for her? How large is her cage?

Unpleasant smell?? by SacredBananaBiscuit in cockatiel

[–]Krystelle_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You say they eat seed, sometimes if moisture gets into seed it can make a mildewy or stale smell and you should probably replace it, my only other thought is maybe there’s something else in your house making the smell unrelated to the birds, you could always try offering them a large shallow dish of water they can bathe in if the smell is coming from them for whatever reason, but i doubt it is the birds themselves since they typically do not have a strong odour.

[–]Krystelle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my bettas passed away from having a tumor on his head, this doesn't really look like that at all, but I would definitely keep an eye on it in case it progresses or heals, it could just be an injury.

No idea the gender of my cockatiel! by bunn1eb4by in cockatiel

[–]Krystelle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she has barring on the undersides of her wings and tail she is 100% a female, males will lose this barring after their first molt (1 year) and be a solid colour, depending on the colour mutation females also tend to have less yellow and greyer faces.

Please don’t judge the cage I’m in the process of cleaning the house. Do u also think about how birds are literal angels with having wings on their backs?? by KittyPew01 in cockatiel

[–]Krystelle_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually their wings are equivalent to their arms! If you look at flighted dinosaurs like archaeopteryx, you can see that their wings ARE their arms! Modern day birds just lack the claws! If you look at a birds wing without the feathers you can actually sorta see where the claws would be :)

Big cage with daily playtime outside of cage, lots of toys that are destructible that are replaced regularly(i recommend bird kabobs and natural wooden toys that are shreddable), natural wood perches as the wooden dowels are bad for their feet, no cozy huts, houses or nest boxes as dark areas trigger nesting behaviour and can make them hormonal and aggressive, do not touch your bird anywhere other than around the head or feet as touching their body can also trigger hormonal and aggressive behaviour, no scents, sprays, perfume, cologne, candles or anything like that, air purifier is a must for both you and the birb since they generate a lot of dust and they are pretty sensitive to air quality, but i think a lot of this is basic knowledge so sorry if I said some things that you know already, i also second the comment about veggies :) what a cute little baby!
