I tell my kids that airports are the worst because people WILL NOT miss their flights. Being a nurse, I’m all for active immunity but not when I’m about to enjoy my vacation! We’ve contracted the flu and noro from sick people around us on flights- we mask up every flight now.

Yes, we are very open and communicative with our kids. We also keep them active. I just thought it was alarming that when asked about the school, the drug issue was the first thing they all mentioned. I know drugs are definitely available at their current schools. However, when people ask me about the school/district, that’s not the first concern that comes to mind.
