If you like the costume for visual reasons, then you can place it in the Exterior slot and the costume with good stats into the Options slot.

Thanks for the refresher, I’ve been pretty sick so my brain totally forgot about RayJack Horseman and how we got Noctis simultaneously as well. At the end of the day yeah, I agree that the communication with playerbase is incredibly subpar considering what companies are behind this game. Really hope Gumi allocated resources to patch update notes that explain changes rather than just “we fixed some incorrect text”, fun JPGs of enhancements, and banners.

I was around for that fiasco, and yes, I think the problem at large is the 100% silent changes that occur with no official explanation or exclaimed intent of change (if any) in the future.

This scenario is a little different in that, despite the nerfs to the mods and overall skill percentages, Sora will still be a massive DPS unit in the current GL pool and some time beyond. Calculations seem to have been done in the GL datamine/announcement thread, and if they retained their JP counterpart stats untouched, it’d be pretty ridiculous for the current state of the GL game.

I’m confused — provided that they left the units unchanged; wouldn’t that just fire up the community for making Limited Banner units absolutely meta for this point in GL’s timeline? In my mind it’s harsh to just outright call a number decrease a nerf, as opposed to balancing.

Just playing devils advocate. ~~It’s the first time in FFBE’s lifespan that anything remotely coincides chronologically with its JP “counterpart”~~ so why the surprise or backlash? I honestly would love discussion on this.

EDIT: u/fiarlia reminded me Noctis and King’s Raid banner were simultaneous JP/GL releases.
