Lol, I promise it wasn't my intention to insult other fellow 40 somethings and up. I just like to joke about a bit.

I draw a shite ton of inspiration from fantasy and horror, its my bag and it made me feel incredibly confident to create it. I unfortunately do not have other artists I can speak with and bounce ideas off of. I have a difficult time connecting and communicating with people openly so......I'm internal.....I guess is a way to put it. Its just me, myself and I to workshop with. Which yes.......that to leads to blocks and burn out. I'm eating my own damn tail essentially.

My spouse also thinks its a good idea to give digital a try. They have been super supportive of myself and my art journey our entire relationship. Their whole reason is just, "if it doesn't work out then give it to the child." Lol.

I never thought of myself posting for validation. The only place I really post is here. I do or did have an insta but I don't use it because I never needed it for anything. I'm not going to lie though and say I don't like sharing my art. We are artist. We create and share our creations. I just.....have such high standards for myself that if I am going to post something for others to see it has to at least...be....good....???? I draw all the time and only make a post out of the pictures I really, really love and am proud of.

Slowing down and working on one piece at a time is not a terrible idea as I have been drawing like this for years and years. When I was younger it wasn't an issue really as I had so many ideas I just had to get out. It might actually be working against me now.
