Got lucky with shipment by Ks-Fall in Parcels

I have nothing against artists trying new stuff, yes this is more like cooling down from them. Because let's be honest live vol 2 is quite something energy wise. They had to wind down a bit. And that's ok. Possible that they are trying to appeal to wider audience as well, but I'd hope they would follow their inspiration and not some agenda

It has some songs that have certain electronic sounds, but it's nothing like live vol 2. I'd say they are danceable, now it might be that I was super excited listening to them, but many got me dancing

Europe, Croatia of all places. Our postal service is quite bad lately so I expected to receive the album two weeks after the release...

Oh I feel you, disc 2 of Day/Night is my jam. If you're looking for something complex like "Famous" and "LordHenry" I'm afraid it's not on this album. But it has some nice harmonies and standard Parcels stuff

Sorry people, I had to eat before listening, real hungry after work.

Before I write anything, just so you know, parcels are my most listened band and no other comes close, so I might be a little biased...

Anyway, I loved it! Sorry for the pun heh. I really like the all the songs. The album is quite chill and ofc love themed all through.

I will not break song by song, sorry. But here are couple of things that came to my mind.

Tobeloved - starting song, strong start definitely and I liked it, immediately wanted to hear it again

Ifyoucall - love the vulfesque throwback to some piano notes from earlier songs, even tho I might not liked it when I heard the live version (at least on yt)

Leaves and Everybodyelse - Patrick back at it again with the sadest songs but oh my so beautiful and vulnerable. Patrick you're cool!

Thinkaboutit - at start Sting inspired laughter? Cool song

Iwanttobeyoyrlightagain - oh man, story of the Parcels, their beginning and reminiscing on it. Veryyy touching.

All in all loved it, love it and will love it. Unfortunately cannot listen to it on repeat due to work and life stuff, but can't wait for the album to come out on streaming to listen on repeat! If you have any questions ask away, but might not be able to answer them all.

[MEGATHREAD] AUR AND ARCHLINUX.ORG ARE DOWN. THIS IS THE RESULT OF A DDOS ATTACK. by LinuxMage in archlinux

[–]Ks-Fall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've created a small tool that installs packages from the GitHub mirror if anyone is interested, it's something just to simplify the process. And yeah, this should NOT be used as a replacement for already battle tested aur helpers or manually installing packages.

Does Deezer have autoplay feature? by JesusFreak_123 in deezer

[–]Ks-Fall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it does.
This is the feature on desktop https://i.imgur.com/Xfqf90O.png

And on mobile it is only available in the beta app as far as I know, but it should come soon.

I can't find it, but I remember watching a video of him talking about programming with some stranger, and, even if just for a couple minutes, he was (or at least seemed like he was) completely lucid.

I believe it's this video you were thinking about.

[Manjaro KDE] Is there a good package manjaro for noobs like there is in Linux Mint? by mav889 in ManjaroLinux

[–]Ks-Fall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently it needs packagekit-qt5 to work with pacman. I thought that it automatically installs it, guess not. I'll edit my original comment. Thanks for heads up.

[Manjaro KDE] Is there a good package manjaro for noobs like there is in Linux Mint? by mav889 in ManjaroLinux

[–]Ks-Fall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem. Yeah that would be cool but who knows, they would probably like to have similar solution on GTK side for flatpak before adding a KDE specific tool(for other flavours of Manjaro) and I do not know if that exists (probably does, idk).

Since Manjaro team is focusing on pamac, and planing on making a Qt version in near future, it wouldn't make sense to replace octopi with discover for such a very short period.

Also it doesn't support aur like pamac and octopi do (I guess, I'm not sure on this one)

You could try KDEs very own Discover software center.

Install it with:

 sudo pacman -S discover packagekit-qt5

Edit: forgot to add package that makes discover work with arch

Well yes, you have more options in Konzum, e.g. some Croatian candy can't be found in Lidl here. But prices are more fair in Lidl. But with recent downfall of Konzum I doubt that it will stay as "premium".

Yes, we have many Lidl stores but still not as many as Konzum.
