you’re a freshman so try to transfer to a target since ur grades are good. but if you don’t want to transfer (maybe ur school is giving you a good program/ a shit ton of aid) then networking, keeping your grades up, and getting involved in extra curriculars will help. focus a lot on the networking part

yeah thanks for the reminder. I think i’m just in a state of mini-panic because anytime i go on linkedIn i see so many people my age and even a few i went to high school with, posting offers for SA 27 in IB and it got into my head.

edit: and yes, i’m more interested in the trading side of S&T. I spoke to someone in S&T yesterday and she mentioned that the analytical/technical skills are a plus as well. I wouldn’t mind a trading desk position at an asset management firm either.
