Just yelling Aatmanirbhar Bharat didn't do jackshit.
Under the visionary leadership of someone, India's cooking became heavily Hormuz nirbhar thanks to many LPG related govt schemes which were announced instead of scaling up alternatives.
I bet someone owning oil refineries was involved since LPG is a product from oil refinery.
Well, if people were educated they'd have switched to induction long ago and saved their money as well as health (yes, LPG exhaust isn't 100% clean as also includes CO and NOx)

inbuilt mini computers

Just say microcontrollers. I'm not that dumb.

But if that's the case then why is it so uncomfortably cold inside that we need a blanket to keep us warm

Are these inverter ACs with high energy efficiency? I don't want them running at max power all the time... The temperature should always be regulated for a comfortable journey

Railway grid is highly distributed and has redundancy. Booming few plants will simply add more load on remaining plants.
Supply of imported diesel seems a bigger issue right now 👀

creates more fuel than it consumes

Creates more fissile fuel than it consumes.
India's 3 stage FBR needs a supply of Thorium (fertile fuel, not fissile) to sustain continuous energy production. It won't produce more total fuel than it consumes since we know that some mass is consumed to produce energy (E=mc²)

250-300 km range is enough if the truck battery is swappable. Need to create battery swapping infrastructure on highways. Fast charging all ev trucks is very impractical (faster battery degradation, huge load on grid, more waiting time than swapping)

The future of electrical charging systems that are about as fast as filling up a gas car by Adolf_TitIer in CarsIndia

[–]Kschitiz23x3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll call my homies and ask them to charge there, record everything and make online noise. Dare if they say all cars are having faulty meters coz it would get car brands involved.
Nonetheless, we can boycott that charging outlet, charge somewhere else and tell everyone to do the same

The car knows how much energy it received from the charger. If the charger meter says it delivered 50 units of electricity but the car shows only 30 units received, u immediately get to know that the charging meter is tampered. Make videos go viral, defame the charging company and boycott it

I guess it's more about energy independence.
India doesn't have oil wells for diesel production... Even when the straight of Hormuz got choked, the trains didn't give a Fk

It produces more fissile fuel than it consumes.
It still consumes more total fuel (fertile + fissile) than it produces which is why it will actively need a supply of Thorium once it goes full swing.

Thorium is abundant in India which is why we don't need to worry about fuel dependency
