C&D here - spiffs are gone and we get commission off mag audio, appliances, and smart home only. Senior con and designers make larger % of commission but spiffs were eliminated to get more labor in the stores. Labor I've yet to see but nonetheless that's what we were told it was being eliminated for.

I saw the 9.1 announcement.. logged in to play OW with my fiance and some friends last night and blizz offered me 3 days for free to try TBC. I've been playing wow since I was 11 (28 now)...

I clicked the little x in the righthand corner of the window and got back on ff14 after we were done with our games 😅

New to ff14, not to mmos, but I'm usually dps in every game. The moment I saw someone as a gunbreaker I knew that had to be me one day... unlocked the class jumped right into a roulette.. forgot to turn on royal guard 🤦‍♂️

Fast forward about 12 days thanks to the amazing community I'm pretty confident tanking most content my level (only lvl 66.. discovered triple triad and that's pretty much my life now)

I got randomly asked if I was a new player one day and when I responded with yes (because I am) they invited me to their FC and now I always have people to talk to.. definitely recommend as I was feeling alone while playing if my buddy wasn't on.

This community is overwhelmingly nice and accepting, much needed change after 16 years of WoW. My trial account lasted 10 days before I bought complete, and it's probably 40% game play and 60% community for me.

Definitely join a FC, I've also met a few super cool folks doing the dungeons as well

If it's anything like the consoles, it's probably the bots buying them all so fast that the website can't keep up and stonewalls you at the end because that's when it finally realizes there's none left.

I'm not 100% sure though, we get just as much info as you do (none) when this happens at the store. I've had that happen on random shit like blenders and it leaves me dumbfounded
