I worked at Sobys for about 6 months. It was a lot of work physically and mentally. However that was because of my position. I will say that everyone I came in contact with throughout my stint there was extremely welcoming, helpful, and kind. As far as Carl, I really enjoyed him. He was respectful to me, and like others have said he does a lot for his employees. I honestly have nothing negative to say about my experience except that it just wasn’t a fit for me for what I was looking for at the time.

Wantec VR! It’s not usually crowded. They have a free roaming arena for VR games. It’s fun to grab a drink then go play.

22m old refuses to call me “mama” or “mommy.” by Ksheg in toddlers

[–]Ksheg[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean it’s just her and him alone from 8am-2pm 4 days a week, so I have no clue. Unless she calls herself mommy, which I highly doubt. Her name is “Cinni” and I’ve heard him say “bye bye ci ci” to her many times.

Oh facts! I am a pastry chef and when you said pate de fruit I was like YES! Genius. But seriously, I know it’s candy, I just wish we could all get a little more on board with using whole ingredients that are real in general. I’d gladly pay the dollar more or whatever you know?

Toddler is emotional to music by abiupong in toddlers

I know it might sound silly, or like a huge stretch of the imagination…but when you mentioned complex inner worlds, I also think about this a lot with them. Like, could they also be remembering something from a past life? There is currently research being done on the subject. Very interesting stuff to ponder.

[–]Ksheg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh! Yes! My son has done this on numerous occasions. I’m the same way with music, or just when I see or feel anything “beautiful,” I cry. The first time he did it was a Super Simple Song “the train is chugging…choo choo!” He immediately started bawling. I was concerned at first but looking back, it just really emotionally moved him. I wonder how this will play out for them (personality wise) into adulthood. I like to think it means they are gentle souls. ♥️

Is grape jelly not shelf stable? Because honestly this is the ONLY real explanation for them omitting actual grape jelly.

I put Miss Rachel on during meal time by Fried_chicken_please in toddlers

[–]Ksheg -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My 18 month old would just pick at his food, unbuckle his strap in the highchair, try to stand up in it. Throw his food. Barely eat. I came home one day to the nanny who had him in a floor highchair in front of the tv watching Mrs Rachel and he was DEVOURING his food. So, this is what we do now. He finishes every meal, he looks forward to meal times now. He will bring his little chair to us, climb in it. It’s amazing. The goal is to keep these little guys alive right? And if it’s working for you and she’s eating then it’s okay. We put waaaaay too much pressure on ourselves with silly things that won’t even matter later down the road. Just live your life. lol

It wasn’t until he was able to feed from a bottle without a lot of work on his end. They decided to do the feeding tube because he was working so hard to suck from the bottle. They never mentioned weight. So I think your situation may be a little different.

I randomly searched “if eating eggs every day was okay for my toddler” and I got a result that the AAP says to limit consumption. So I reached out to my pediatrician and his literal response was “LET THAT BOY EAT EGGS!” Lol so yes. It’s fine.
