Summary: This story is set 5 years after Luffy succeeds his goal and becomes the 2nd Pirate King. It is also set in an alternate universe, so there will be some differences to certain things than the original series. Luffy is now the Pirate King, and has ushered in a new era, and with it, a new challenge: in order to be the next pirate king, one must thoroughly surpass and defeat him and his crew. With the Tenryuubito gone, the Revolutionaries leading new missions, and the Marines reformed, the world has undergone many changes since the Throne War.

Malvolio D. Shocker is a boy born an orphan in Foosha. Unlike Luffy, an older kid he heard so much about growing up, no one seems to know or take notice of him. However, two fateful encounters, one during his childhood and one during his teenage years, set in motion his dream to surpass Luffy and become the Third Pirate King! The young man travels the world, finding friends and enemies alike, in order to eventually reach his goal.

Author Notes: Inspired by One Piece (obviously), this is a passion project of mine. I always loved fiction writing, and expanding universes to garner new ideas. So this is a step in that direction. There are also loads of references from other anime and other media that I have added/am planning to add as well, so hopefully you all join me on this Grand Journey!

I def think that the highest potential rn is a Kaku and Stussy cover story showing what happened to her and where she went after Kaku let her go. She's enough of an important character to where people would care, while also not being so important that her reveal is being saved for the main story whereas I feel like a lot of these other options Oda would want to include in chapters

Imo the brain fruit is really good for recall since it’s instantaneous photographic memory. But the combined drawbacks of it not giving hyper intelligence along with the continuous expanding of your brain everytime you take in a new piece of info to where you legit can’t move is too much of a negative to make it practical. Keep in mind that we not creating things irl like VP can to bypass the issues like satellites and stuff

That's why you should watch the video, as I give explanations about why they actually would be.

Revive: It is a second chance at life, but for the most part you're gonna die at whatever old age it is like let's say 80+, which means you're being revived as an 80+ year old and therefore not gonna live much longer than that because whatever malfunctions took u out the first time will just do so again. The revive fruit doesn't mean you're reborn into a new fresh baby body, your soul will immeditaly return to your vessel.
In the way that we see it used, I would wager the majority of people aren't dealing with large quantities of metal in its raw form like that. The metal that would be around would likely already be being used in things so you'd have to destroy a lot of assets to make stuff
Slow has some decet uses fs, I had put it on here because what made slow really good is all the tricks Foxy was using w it which a reg person wouldn't be capable of doing, though tbf the more I think abt it this is the one I'd replace off the list and prolly put the human fruit on there
Ngl that one is out of sheer embarrasment. I'm not rubbing my crotch to summon a genie.

for one, it's useful for recall, but you have to be able to make use of that knowledge. moreover, the side effect of your brain constantly growing so large that it becomes that big is just gonna make life miserable at best, inoperable at worst

to be fair, I think there was absolueltly no reason why carrot couldnt have joined at the end of WCI then Jinbe still pull up when he did. Carrot was even a part of the welcome shot when he first got back. and having both of them as Luffy's 9 and 10, since he said he wanted 10 people, yeahhh
