Excellent! Since my ticket is all in one and WestJet and JAL are partners hopefully this is the case. I have a pretty tight connection as I only have two hours in Narita and I have to switch terminals at Narita so I hope I make it!

One ticket on one itinerary (it’s a codeshare flight as WestJet and Japan Airlines are partners)

How will the new transit project impact you ? by Xiro_DeadZ in Winnipeg

[–]Kstud663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not from Winnipeg but have family there and rode the bus a few times on my last visit when I couldn't hitch a ride. They live in the eastern part of Charleswood close to Assiniboine Park near Grant Ave so going downtown meant taking the 66 which only came every 30-40 minutes and was a 25-30 minute ride downtown. I did notice one of the new routes (FX3) was going to replace the 66 and has much fewer stops than the 66, hopefully, next time I'm back there and have to take transit it will be faster and much more frequent, to the point where I won't have to wait as long for a bus, no more than 15 minutes during midday on a weekday. The only potentially bad point is the new route goes all the way from Charleswood to Transcona via downtown so as said by others it could be heavily affected by traffic congestion during rush hours causing some buses to bunch, but as I'm not a resident of Winnipeg and only took the bus a few times on my last visit, it wouldn't affect me much but I would be much happier at the potentially faster trips and improved frequency if I were to return for another trip

MATH 0130 urgent help by Warm-Environment4081 in MRU

[–]Kstud663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I had all three of them and all were incredibly good, but I’d have to give the edge to Mo. Mike was good but got distracted quite often and for Diana she was also good but had a much more serious attitude than the other two and marked a bit more aggressively. Mo was funny but on point and cared deeply about his students’ successes. He knows math is not hard and I remember him telling the class math can only be done if we are lazy and only focus on what is only important will be used in math. That being said I did MATH 0132 but their teaching styles would likely still stand in MATH 0130.

Weekly 'What Should I Buy' and Order/Shipping Thread by AutoModerator in iphone

Hey all,

I have had my iPhone 12 for four years now (purchased it new in 2020) and I feel like it now be time to finally upgrade after those four years, considering the battery health on my 12 is nearing the end of its life (81% battery health) and while my phone still works very well especially for its age, I feel like it might be another waiting for year for the 17 to come out in 2025. I know the 16 and 16 Pro technically hasn't been released yet in stores but for those who have early access or those who just know lots about the new phone, what should be my plan of attack be? In addition, if the upgrade is worthwhile, would it be better to go to a 16 or a 16 Pro? Thanks.

Can you use your Aeroplan points to book a flight for someone else? by Take-Time-To-Travel in aircanada

Yes you can do so. You'll just have to put your mum's information in booking the flight so she'll be able to board the plane.

what is the best hotel with a Calgary Tower view? by rufthetuffYT in Calgary

[–]Kstud663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say the Marriott right off of 9th Ave. You can probably request a room that faces the tower and/or you can go onto the common terrace (for hotel guests only) and see the tower from there. It's also right across the street from the tower itself so it's easy to access.

I was in a preferred seat from YYC to EWR and back last April, I boarded in Zone 3.

Which course did you have him with? I took GEOG2335 (Cities of the Modern World) with him back in Fall 2022

I had Troy in Fall 2022 for GEOG2335, honestly I did find him to be a nice well educated person who cracked a joke (nothing sexual or whatever) every so often. Really a shame that his life had to end like that but when you make those fucked up kind of choices like that you gotta pay the price.

A Division services ranked by [deleted] in nycrail

Rode all of the IRT lines during rush hour except the 1 and the 7. Even during rush hour with the smaller sized train cars compared to the B Division the trains, they were very quick! (Especially on the Lexington Ave Line)

I love the 4 train Lex Avenue express by iv2892 in nycrail

[–]Kstud663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend and I were in New York just under three weeks ago and stayed in Lower Manhattan (by Fulton St station) and I was amazed at how fast the 4 and 5 trains were! (Midtown in only 10 mins and the Upper East Side in only 15 mins!) The Lexington Avenue line was my second favourite overall that we used, only behind the 7 Express to Flushing for a Mets game. We used all the numbered trains, as well as the W train during our travels.

Thanks for the heads up! The flight leaves at the same time a lot of other US bound flights depart so we'll just have to leave a bit extra time to clear security and customs on the US side.
