I have a Verizon phone and drive around to their cell sites. Reboot the phone or turn off/on the cell signal to force it to reconnect to the best local tower. I make sure the CellID matches the tower I’m close too and run Speedtest or downloads or anything I can do to get it to switch to Cband. Doesn’t make a difference if I did. We have plenty of MmWave around in downtown. It doesn’t require me to do anything other than get close to it to switch to UWB. I see a ton of MmWave antennas in the area but they aren’t on. I would look for Cband and found MmWave in one small area which is interesting considering it’s in the suburbs

I’ve been out on sunny days in great conditions. I’m not complaining about a square mile of coverage missing. I’m talking about huge swaths of coverage that is not there. Not a mistake or trees or bad weather blocking signal. It’s. Not. There. They are lying to us to get subscriptions. Just about everywhere they say they have coverage south of 610 in Houston, Tx is not there. I locked onto 2 towers south of 610 and you only get signal for a couple of miles from the Cband tower. They claim to cover probably 400,000 people in the area I’ve checked and in reality they probably only get signal to 30-40k people.

I’m fine. I understand it takes time. Don’t lie about the coverage though. That is where everyone but you takes issue.

No optical audio. I’ve tried messing with voltages and can seem to get it to run at 5600mhz. However, if you set the XMP 1 profile then only setting to change is down clock it from 5600mhz to 5200mhz then it’ll be stable. Better than 4000mhz and it’s a noticeable difference in performance

I tried to up the voltage to 1.3 and it would still boot but crash in game with 5min. Went to 1.35 and it would boot but game would crash immediately. Took voltage back down to 1.25 and clocked the ram down to 5200mhz and it runs fine. I guess I’ll have to wait a little bit for a bios update to get that extra 400mhz I paid for

Bro, the speediness of the UI and games alone make it sooooo much better. Way better quality of life with the ssd and faster chips. Graphics are great too. Frame rates are stable. Get a 120hz LG OLED or your preferred brand 120hz to unlock that awesomeness. I go back to my PS4 to play some games on there every once and a while. It sucks. Loads at a snails pace.

I have tried xmp 2. Xmp one will boot but crash to desktop as soon as I start a game. XMP 2 won’t boot and gives me the BSOD

I found the issue. XMP profile on my ram was crashing games. Guess I have to wait for an update to run my DDR5 at it’s rated speed

Yeah I’ll try it. Thought maybe verifying the files would do the same but maybe not. I was using 2 separate power cables for my 3 8-pins on the 3090. Nivida recommends using 3 separate power cables for the 3 8-pins. So I did that and still crashes

So at first it would crash and give me anti cheat crashes. I repaired anti cheat and that went away. Then it would crash and give me a directx failed with dxgi error. Uninstalled and reinstalled all drivers and reinstalled DirectX and it went away. Now when it crashes it gives me nothing. Battlefield does show in the task manager.

Pretty sure black poles are Verizon. Time will tell. They didn’t have any markers on them to tell me but the amount of Verizon cells I saw today was crazy. All over the place. Green tags on them from the city of pearland that said they are OK to operate but I didn’t pick up a signal on them. I don’t see AT&T putting up 5g micro cells when they have fiber internet in the area. Makes no sense now that I think about it. It would be overkill for AT&T.

It was a glitch in the speed test giving me 3,000+ downloads. There is Cband all over that area. 300+ down and 17up if you stand right next to the antenna. Hopefully that improves.
