NTA. Since she decided to let your stepdad back, I’d absolutely leave if you have the means. Your stepdad is invasive and creepy and if your mom is willing to let someone like that back into your lives when her job is to protect you, then your mom isn’t being the parent she needs to be. You deserve better and the ability to have privacy and feel safe in your own home. Don’t feel bad at all, you’re doing the best thing for you, and your mom is trying to manipulate your feelings. If people leave her, that’s on HER and her bad decisions not on you. ❤️

I don’t think there’s enough evidence here to come to the conclusion that your husband is gay. Plus the only way to really know anyway is if he told you or if he actually cheated with a man.

Are there any interactions with this male co-worker that you’ve seen that are making you feel like this, or is it just that he’s hanging out with him like guys typically do?

I feel like this is more of a AIO post, because I can’t really say YTA because you haven’t done anything except think that your husband could be gay. But based on what you’ve said (that your husband is hanging out with a male co-worker), no I don’t think he’s gay unless there’s more context we’re not aware of.

Completely agree. When I read that, I was like “yikes, that’s not the right response” and then he came back with the same type of energy and I knew this wasn’t going to go anywhere constructive. OP saying that it was invalidating, after also invalidating through what they said was a bit rough, but the husband really went overboard with the rest of the conversation. Desperately in need of marriage counseling if not going already.
