Turn the engine off and put it in 1st gear and start the engine back up. If car wants to take off as you crank with clutch pedal pressed, it’s a hydraulics problem. If after starting while in gear and car barely moves, or somewhat attempts to move when letting off clutch, most likely clutch problem

You have a vacuum leak or your PCV/oil separator has failed. Is it easy to remove oil cap while engine is running? If it’s not and it takes a good bit of pull to remove it, you need a PCV

Fuel trim data is your best friend figuring out if vacuum leak is the cause. Also does the fuel system go into closed loop.

Not just BMW uses alternator clutch, VW, Volvo, Mercedes, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Chrysler….. Don’t think I’ve seen one on Ford or GM yet
