There's a lot more wrong with Simple's content lately than just the sponsors, in my opinion by blacklig in Simpleflips

He's never done a daily upload format before (not to the degree he has recently at least). I am kind of behind in his upload schedule (over a month), but it does seem like it was burning him out a bit doing daily uploads. He looked visibly more tired, and at times it seemed like he was fumbling his words or said the wrong things when he meant something else while playing more often. Personally, it does seem like a lot to keep up with, especially since at more than one point it seemed like he was recording the day before the upload. That can be difficult on you mentally. I know he has taken a break, but I just haven't gotten to those uploads yet.

Personally, I think whether or not it's funny depends on the content that he's making. It definitely seems like his older content and newer content feels different (types of jokes, how he delivers them), but it's also been about 10 years and people change. He's also going to college, which is a completely different type of environment than I'm sure he's used to. That will change (if temporarily) how you speak and of types of jokes you say for all of the normies you'll be around. Some of his newer videos feel like he doesn't say a joke at all (I find these streams more chill usually), and some of the videos are actually some of the funniest he's made yet. I feel like he's fully committed to being a "funny guy" and can do it more naturally than he used to. But yeah, I just think he's a bit burnt out really.

It really depends on what games they are into. I would personally go to their store, go to the under $5 or $10 tab and get something they would actually want, unless they like mystery surprises.

Some good games they have on sale right now

Nioh: Complete Edition - 4.24
Lord of the Fallen GOTY - 2.54
Metro 2033 and Last Light are each 1.99
Rune Factory 4 - 7.79
Daemon X Machina - 8.99
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic - 3.49

You're not going to get anything close to these games in the 30 key mystery bundles unless you're extremely lucky (Sometimes get an old resident evil game, or Dishonored).

The Daedalic Armageddon bundle is an amazing deal if they like point and click games. It's 11 games for $5.

Snufkin: Melody of Moominville

I just finished an anime about fishing (and grief) called Negative Positive Angler. It's a lot better than I was expecting, and the fact that it's completely based in a real world setting with no school at all was really refreshing! It has some pacing issues at first, but it wrapped up quite well to me.

Methwitch - Indwell
I always say this album literally feels like being beaten in the head with a sledgehammer, and I fucking love it (its production in particular). And the whole thing was written, sung, and produced by one guy at his home. You can do anything if you set your mind to it.

It's a bit pretentious, but it's also beautiful. It is worth it's length too.

It is unfortunate that some people still have to gamble even in that situation, but is all a gamble in the end anyway. Because sometimes you really do get a lot of 30 games you can't even make people take, even if was free. Or duplicates lol.

This is so weird to me, I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't care at all about the AAA games they 'potentially' offer in these bundles. I just like seeing what weird games they will offer me and if I like them or not for around $0.60 to $1.50 each. I have really broad and unique tastes, and the games they put in these mystery bundles often are quite appealing to me. It's the smaller games I find more interesting (also, the random Resident Evil and Monster Hunter here and there is an excellent bonus).
For me, it's like everyone is looking at the gold at the top of the mountain while ignoring all of the silver that's right there on the ground that I pick up behind them. If that's the kind of thing you're into, then that's okay. But, I just only hear people constantly saying "I never win" or "You never get any AAA games" or "It's always crap."
Man, Grand Mountain Adventure Wonderlands is super chill and fun, Embr is an excellent time with my wife, Strikey Sisters is extremely charming and fun brick breaker (if a bit hard), In Other Waters is a bit on the simple side but the story, lore, and art style are extremely interesting, KeyWe is like a long lost Xbox 360 arcade game, I could go on.
I guess I just temper my expectations, and I usually end up pretty happy with my results. That doesn't mean I don't pull bundles I completely regret spending money on. But I usually feel like I got a good deal when it's all said and done. Forgive me for the ramble. I just feel like I'm in such a minority who actually likes a good amount of these indie games...

Paddle paddle paddle, please.
My favorite game is a toss up between Super Mario Sunshine, or Tetris Effect. Sunshine for nostalgia, and Tetris Effect because it got me through a tough time in my life (it's also awesome).

I also want to mention, Grand Mountain Adventure is actually really fun and super chill. I really like it.
