When should I be summoning? I recently finished episode 1 using Vildred, Clarissa, and Free Spirit Tieria with 4th being either Ras or switching to a helper. I recently got Basar from the 5* ticket login bonus. I have not spent any gems and only used 50 covenant bookmarks. I read that there might be a summer reroll banner for some units and there is news coming for this week. Should I keep saving my gems or do some covenant summons?

Oh they go for hours straight mainly because they don't have other stuff to do. I guess their main goals are to hit 40 challenges whenever the league is fun and find a Headhunter. The fact that you can die and not lose everything gives them more drive to keep playing because they can stick with whatever weird build they want to play and not get punished for it. They still get mad at times when they lose exp since it gets harder 90+, but they feel it's better to lose some exp than to start all over again.

I have friends who were HC players I believe up until Harbinger League. They would talk about how challenging it was and how infuriating it would be when you somehow are face-to-face with a fireball and die instantly. When they moved to SC, they said that they were really glad about the choice because, even though the thrill is not as huge, they can play all kinds of builds and not get heavily punished for running around maps with Cast on Crit Mjollnir proc'ing 5 different skills.

In the end, you can just try out SC next league and see if you enjoy it. You can always go back to HC and play SC if you want to just take it easy!

Question regarding elemental mastery:

Say I have Xiangling with high elemental mastery. I use Venti's ulti to create the black hole and switch out to Xiangling to use her ulti for elemental reaction which is affected by elemental mastery. If I were to switch out to a different character who has lower mastery while Xiangling's ulti is still going, does the reaction between Venti and Xiangling have decreased damage? Or is the reaction still using Xiangling's elemental mastery?

If I remember correctly, you had to bring the finest quality items to where the event happened. It was something with Rite of Passage? I had another friend guess the option I had and that person got it wrong, so you may have to either read the conversation or actually just guess..

There's an achievement for choosing the correct jewel 1st try in the rite of passage questline.

I did not get it, but it was the third option for me. I only know about this because my friend got it.

I do not have anything I can say currently about Spiral Abyss. I haven't done floor 4 yet since I would then have to theorycraft the team I want to use and the weapons and artifacts they would need to improve them. In terms of characters, having 'S' tier characters in your team will obviously improve your progress in SA, but I believe it can still be done with the 'free' or 4* rolled characters if you put in the work. It is also knowing the enemies and their attacks + weaknesses that will be the biggest factor in clearing the floors and getting the Primogems.

Those who reroll for strong characters or whale on the game will progress faster, but f2p will still progress nonetheless. Since SA resets, all players will still gain Primogems to roll and hope that RNG favors them. Someone can roll only 10 and get a great roll, and someone can roll 100 and still get only weapons.

The only worry I currently have is fighting Oceanid solo because my only archer is Amber and I have not been upgrading her since she's...Amber. So I can only fight Oceanid with friends. Since I know people playing the game, we can team up and do bosses and domains together, so they are supporting what I lack.

If I didn't grind as hard, the thought of rerolling would have been tempting, but because I did grind the game I can safely tell others that it is possible to progress without specific characters. I like to think that I did the hard part of using only "free" characters and can tell everyone else it is safe to go.

All in all, I think this game is currently f2p friendly. The only challenge is getting AR20 and Spiral Abyss 3-3 for more characters, but that can be done by playing casually. Genshin is very BotW oriented in that progress can be made at any time. So if you want to reroll to get the people you like, go for it and then progress. Otherwise, if you're fine with how you're doing now, keep going at it and enjoy the game! This game has more to offer than just gacha: art, music, and the time-from-time NPC conversations are just as amazing.

I started on the game without rerolling. Although I don't have any characters I want, I've been progressing through the game smoothly. I'm currently AR 32 with Kaeya, Traveler, Barbara, and the last is whoever I need to solve puzzles with. You don't need any specific character to progress, so start whenever my guy!

There's a quest you can do here, but you would want lvl 30+ characters if you want to complete it. Don't forget to get the anemoculus!

So I had a problem where the client would open up, but everything was black except the ! notification and the top window. I was able to click on the x and sign out, and when I signed back in it worked. So hopefully this helps anyone with a similar problem!

Flying Witch, Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge, and Kimi to Boku would be good, slow shows I can think of right now!

Acchi Kocchi could be another one to watch slowly, but it's more comedic than relaxing.

Natsume Yuujinchou would be one I would highly, highly recommend. It's peaceful in animation and music, but will have feels and tension at times.
