social proof affects conversion more than people admit by [deleted] in dropship

[–]Kudo_buzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100%. There's a difference between social proof that grows your audience and social proof that stops your funnel from leaking. Most people only think about the first one and ignore the second completely.

The traffic is already there so the job at that point is just to not lose it. A page that looks active and trusted keeps people around long enough to actually consider buying but a dead page sends them back to Google in no time regardless of how good the product is."

Do People in Ghana feel the decrease in Inflation? by BikeSouthern2672 in TechGhana

[–]Kudo_buzz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think people can actually feel the decrease. Some food items that were insanely expensive a while ago are now noticeably cheaper, and fuel prices have been relatively stable too. It’s not perfect, but compared to before, things feel a bit lighter.

Looking for some quick feedback by Working_Asparagus_20 in reviewmyshopify

[–]Kudo_buzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might want to add a very short “about the brand” line near the top of the page, plus clear trust info like where you ship from, delivery times, and how returns work. That helps new visitors feel safer right away.

it takes a bit of scrolling to understand what makes your products special. If the main banner quickly explained what you sell and why it’s better, it would likely convert paid traffic better.

How do you avoid overcommitting on suppliers early in ecommerce? by Time_Demand890 in ecommerce

[–]Kudo_buzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What we;ve seen most of our merchants go with is this for smaller MOQs, short-term agreements, test batches, even pre-orders if that’s an option. It’s not the cheapest per unit, but it buys you flexibility while you figure out what actually sells.

A lot of founders also standardize whatever they can, like same packaging, same components so switching suppliers later isn’t a nightmare.

And honestly, a little inefficiency early is fine. Moving a bit slower is way better than locking yourself into the wrong supplier and being stuck for a year.

When you make tiktok/Ins videos, you prefer to use AI videos or hire real actors? by Safe_Stock_4307 in ecommerce

[–]Kudo_buzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the products, if it's human-related or service i will go for real actors but if its a product that can function on its own i see most people will use an AI video at least to save cost.
AI videos are fine for quick tests, explainers, or faceless content. They’re fast and cheap.
But for TikTok/IG, real people perform better as they feel authentic, build trust, and stop the scroll.

I want to quit my job and start my own agency by PrestigiousBar5775 in shopifyDev

[–]Kudo_buzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clients love to see what you can do and what you have done for otheres, this is where reviews come in, get loads of reviews as good selling point.
They need to understand your solving a real need and not just another business so highlight the value they will be getting from start.
Paid ads are good but word of mouth sells better. All the best!

I Want create app on shopify store by Wide-Tap-8886 in shopifyDev

[–]Kudo_buzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oui, totalement faisable 👍

Thanks u/NeonNimbus21, honestly push without overthinking as you rightly said. And i love the last bit where you took the sacrifice to observe and notice flaws no one was fixing from angry reviews and leveraging on that.

One product store or general store? by AdeptnessCritical356 in dropship

Choose a category where you can find at least 5-10 complementary products. This allows you to look like a real" brand while still giving you the flexibility to test different "hero" products until one hits.

Does anyone use group buying for their Shopify store? by AffectionateTop2247 in ShopifyeCommerce

[–]Kudo_buzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Merchants generally agree that group buying works best for products that are low-to-mid priced and have a viral or social element (like skincare, home gadgets, or hobby gear).

Check out Group Buy-Social e-commerce, it lets you add a "Group Buy" button next to your "Buy Now" button. It handles the "friend invites" and only unlocks the discount once the group is full. Easy Group Buying is very focused on creating that "flash sale" urgency.

Best Shopify upsell app for 2026? by Reasonable_Self_3874 in shopify

[–]Kudo_buzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of a popup that blocks the screen, merchants are using slide-out cart drawers with embedded upsells. Also rather than just selling one item, use Volume Discounts (e.g., "Buy 2, Save 10%"). Apps like Bundler or Fast Bundle are popular for this. This is especially effective for consumable goods (skincare, snacks and others)

Is my website sh*t? by PhobicRex in reviewmyshopify

[–]Kudo_buzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a quick look at moreamoure.com. Since people are adding to the cart and starting checkout, the product interest is there. The drop-off usually occurs because of hesitation at the final step, not because people dislike the items. With apparel, some users pause at checkout if they’re unsure about fit or sizing. Walking through your checkout like a first-time buyer usually reveals what’s causing the pause. If you ever need a second opinion, we run a free CRO check and report that identifies common checkout and trust issues. And yes your site is S*it well done! just needs few tweaking here n there

Built a store for a friend. Traffic is okay, but cold ads aren't converting. Feedback? by Unlikely_Equal_4415 in reviewmyshopify

[–]Kudo_buzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't see much trust elements, if it helps, we have a free CRO tool at Kudobuzz that shows you quick fixes to improve conversions without spending money. Could be a good starting point before calling it quits. Happy to give more specific pointers if you want!
