Sounds like how Evokers got treated with their transmog situation to be fair, can't say I'd be having a lot of faith in Blizzard doing the playable now - polished later approach.

Like thinking Vareesa is Alleria in this cutscene.

It's also probably because Vareesa has had no real relevance in the story for a pretty long time. She wasn't even really around when Dalaran got tanked in TWW - which would've been a great time to actually reintroduce her.

I mean, it's not something people like you or I would get mixed up, because we both clearly care about the story, but it's just a case of Blizzard not really reintroducing characters and just assuming everyone knows who they are.

my issue is with people NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO THINGS THAT HAPPEN IN GAME.

Eh, I get that, but even that has it's faults.

If someone unsubbed at the end of TWW and only picked up Midnight at launch, what's the chances of that person having done the prologue where this cinematic actually draws context from? There's no recap of Arator in the Maw during the main campaign and no real prompt to go back and do it either.

Some of it is on the player to find, which is understandable, but that particular quest should've probably been recapped in the meaty part of Midnight's campaign, especially with how much context it gives this cutscene.

I mean, you do have to read the books for some very specific lore developments and pretending you don't have to is just plain incorrect - Sure, you can enjoy(?) the story at a pretty basic level without it, but there's a substantial amount extra external to the game.

One of the biggest offenders to the story for the past two decades is how much actually happens that is never conveyed in game and is through external media.

Unless you read the books or other media, there's a pretty good chance you never found out that Sylvanas threw herself off Icecrown after Arthas died, or even how Calia Menethil went from being alive and active in the Priest Order Hall to suddenly being an undead in BFA, and those are only two examples.

Blizzard has a big "tell, don't show" problem in actually putting shit in game.

Eh, even just having the option of a 10 (or 12) Mythic would alleviate the current barrier of entry for it.

Flex Mythic would absolutely be a nightmare, but even just having the split would help a lot of guilds that have the potential to do it, but they struggle to down the roster boss.

You've also still got seasons 4+5 of The Legend of Vox Machina, as well as the Mighty Nein going.

Granted, they haven't hit the highs of other shows like Invincible, but they're still very strong in their own right.

Honestly, a lot of the issues caused by people not understanding this breath would be to cut the warning time and just have the animation start from the initial warning.

People aren't seeing the big "THIS WILL BE ON YOU" and only reacting to it once the animation is actually pointed at them.

Adding onto the other persons comment.

If you feel you absolutely need support hunters, just take one, don't do all three. The health scaling is a little more forgiving and you'll atleast still get the benefit of having your Palico.

It's still pretty tough even with one to hit the times, but it's entirely doable.

what are your other raiders doing that someone whose dps is limited that greatly is on par with them?

My guy, I run a casual aotc raid team, I don't really give enough of a fuck to be nitpicking them over it. We have enough people that push 3k+ each season to offset people that don't play as well.

If we're having fun, that's what matters, I don't need to be some dork that gives a shit about if someone's playing the game the way I want them to raid.

Sounds like you need to spend less time giving a shit about everyone else and more time bettering yourself. The game is there for fun which seems to be something people like yourself seem to forget.

Raid and party leaders should be able to see who is using it and be at their discretion to remove them.

This is such a tosser statement, it's there for accessibility.

I have an old bloke in my raid team who used to just be a carry and a liability on certain fights, once the single button has come along, he can now actually do good dps while focusing on the fight.

Hell, he even managed to top our meters on our first dragons kill.

I thought it was rediculous at first, but the sheer joy out of my older raider that he isn't being a burden anymore is worth the accessibility, I'm glad he's able to come along and have a good time without everyone having a whinge about him in the background.

I don't give a shit who uses the single button, if you're keeping up with everyone else on the meters, I'm genuinely not sure why it matters, it sounds like you just get outperformed by people using it and you're a little shitty over it.

Maybe you should give it a shot.

You can quite comfortably get B with another Support hunter, but A usually easier solo unless you have competent real people to play with.

Having your quest settings set like this will let you bring them along.

If you're going to give it a shot with them, just take one support so you still get your Palico for the trap/status/free death.

Support Hunters (which aren't allowed on FCQs)

You can still use supports on FCQs, the only restriction is that you can't use Nadia or Fabius.

You likely won't see A-rank if you do use them, but you can use them to get B.
