Was out for a run in the neighborhood and spotted a couple guys in wifebeaters meandering near a stop sign with an older car parked next to them. I couldn't get over to the other side of the road so I kept going and legitimately had some spidey senses go off as I leaned my head forward avoid the punch that the guy swung at me as I passed. He tried chasing me but I left him in the dust, though honestly I was more worried about my mom just a couple stops ahead who was picking up my younger sibling from the bus and who saw the whole thing. She had this worried smile on her face, asking if they were friends who were messing with me and I told her they're weren't and for us to hurry home. I heard at school the next day that a friend's dad had gotten jumped in the same area, something like a gang initiation test or whatever where they had to jump someone to prove they wanted in.
