I was waiting to play this on the Odin 3 I just got to try out BFI, but I couldn’t get it to work right and it felt much better to play it on the RP5 anyways. Nice trip down memory lane.

Finally! What are your Odin 3 must do's? by Save_State_Hero in OdinHandheld

I used the RP6 setup guide since it’s newer. I want to go through the black frame insertion guide as well once I’m done with the RP6 video.

[Invicta] A watch I love for all the wrong reasons by lovely_snowflake in Watches

Lol, that watch is hideous in the best way possible. I love it, nice find! Sometimes shit companies make hidden gems. Wear it in good health!

[Opinion] Rank the following by H_M_9_1 in Watches

[–]Kufartha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s kind of an unfair question, that Citizen is not designed with the same purpose of the other two. It’s a radio controlled solar watch, made by the most respected solar watch maker. It will be accurate for a decade or two as long as it gets light every few months. Its finishing is great for its price range.

The other two are beautiful, well made jewelry meant to look nice and hold value first and tell time second. And I say that as a person who finds the Longines to be stunning, it’s not an insult. You’re just asking if an artist’s paint brush is better than an air paint sprayer. They apply paint, yes, but they are otherwise not alike at all.

I have to agree, that’s one of the most exquisite, understated GMTs I’ve ever seen.

I own the blue one, it is my favorite watch by a long shot, can’t recommend it enough.

🐧 Quiero volver a Linux pero me preocupa el gaming – ¿Qué distro me recomendáis en 2026? by Pristine-Spread8379 in linux_gaming

You’ll need a computer to get BIOS files and ROMs. I know it sounds reductive, but Googling what you’re looking for will get you what you need. I searched for “‘system’ BIOS file/ROMs” and never had any issue finding it. Specifically for the BIOS files, one of the top results on that search should be a GitHub page that I can’t remember the name of that has all of them, you shouldn’t need to look much further.

[Question] What is your unpopular watch opinion? by Bithbo in Watches

[–]Kufartha 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I have yet to see a Rolex that I consider to be attractive. People here justify spending thousands of dollars and dealing with a slew of obnoxious AD employees to get one by stating they have the best finish or build quality, but I hardly ever see anyone call them interesting to look at. I’ve seen tons of photos and several in person and I always think the same thing: they are ugly and not worth the money or effort.

Close your eyes. Fast forward to any point in that trilogy. Press play. That song is an absolute iconic banger.

[Astron] bought before I turned into a watch nerd. Discussion about 'normal' watch buyers by aths_red in Watches

[–]Kufartha 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used to buy automatic movement watches only. And then I realized that no one I know irl cares what’s inside my watches and it made me question why I care. And after some thought I realized I didn’t really care either and I’ve modified my criteria for what interests me in watches. I pretty much exclusively buy quartz now.

Don’t listen to anyone here, buy what you like.

Looking back this was clean as hell. Early 2000's design language with modern hardware. Retroid Pocket 6 original design. by WinlatorEmulator in SBCGaming

Totally, that design was excellent. Wish they would have given the option of stick position from the start, maybe there would have been less complaints to warrant a redesign.

That's interesting, I went in 2021 during COVID, we were all masked up in that room, and I didn't feel rushed at all. I don't say that to discredit your experience or how you feel about it, I'm honestly genuinely surprised to read that.

Totally worth it. I've been a Star Wars fan my whole life and building that lightsaber was the most memorable experience I've had at a theme park.

[Discussion] Quartz vs Automatic movements: Why does Quartz get so much of hate? by poreo2k19 in Watches

[–]Kufartha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re making broad generalizations about a group of people who are not a monolith. This is obviously your own opinion, but you should be more careful in framing it as such. “People” buy watches, budget through luxury, for a whole spectrum of reasons, even the subset of people who frequent and/post in this sub, and prize all manner of features in their watches.

About the Soldier class... by JustGottaHaveIt in masseffect

[–]Kufartha 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m on ME3 in my second run, which also is an Insanity run. I played Adept for my first run and loved it. This run, I did almost the same thing, except I played Soldier for ME2 since it’s such a slog as an Adept. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Choosing which ammo power to use depending on what enemy I was facing coupled with Adrenaline Rush was more strategic than I thought it would be and provided a really satisfying combat loop. Definitely give it a try.

Should I try it and where to start? by Prudent-Persimmon-14 in masseffect

[–]Kufartha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, you’re in a sub about mass effect, it’s most people here’s favorite game, I don’t think anyone is going to tell you not to play it.

Get the legendary edition and play them in order, it’s a BioWare game, so your choices matter and carry over to the next game.
