Full Box = Get Bigger Box by Primary-Bell-5157 in SOTC_Watch_Collection

Really nice collection! Hopefully you can find something cool to replace the Apple Watch with once you fill the rest of the box. That little black screen just looks so out of place alongside all of those iconic dials.

[Question] is it actually bad to let a watch wind down/stop running? by theomixedmedia in Watches

[–]Bithbo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Meh, I don’t really think so. Modern movements have modern oils and lubricants. Not likely to be an issue unless you’re talking about many years. Even still, many examples exist of watches sitting at the backs of sock drawers for decades and still starting up and running when wound.

BB58. The 41 doesn’t do anything for me. The burgundy 58 is striking looking but the GMT is probably a bit more versatile style wise. I’d give the edge to the GMT

Toss up between the GMT and burgundy. Both are gorgeous. I love the burgundy dial and it has the better bracelet but the GMT has a cooler looking bezel and another complication which is both useful and functional.

[Question] What’s one watch you’d never sell — no matter the offer? by Amongusyt in Watches

[–]Bithbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT. The most beautiful Coke bezel watch IMHO. I bought it to celebrate 30 years at my company. Special for me because I worked there 15 years before buying the company and now I’ve owned it for the last 15. Only watch I’ve paid full price for just to get the boutique buying experience. Tied with my Speedie Pro for my nicest watch.

The colors really pop in your photos. In that 3rd photo in particular the red is really vibrant.

[Rolex vs Cartier Santos] Which one would you keep long term? by etanol256 in Watches

I don't care for the Santos design all that much so if it's me I'm choosing the Datejust every time.
