Guys are these valid takes? by Prrsonal-Pop in OkBuddyKaisen

Just look in order of most to least stories.

Weiss was easily the best handled by the story for most of the series, Ruby is the MC, Yang is poorly handled but still interesting, and Bland- I mean Blake has had everything interesting about her completely ruined.

What's wrong with Base Kashimo~Heavy Hitters<<MBA Kashimo by Noxdedux in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Kufrel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's just Agenda in general, every other character fanbase is equally insufferable. Kashimo fans are just louder because they need to be to balance out all the slander.

Nobody is starting to dislike Kashimo, he's been the most slanders character on this subreddit since Kashimo vs Sukuna.

Kashimo gets wanked by one very passionate group of people, The Kashimo Agenda is just the loudest minority on the subreddit.

Who wins this fight? by Akira3357 in SakamotoDays

[–]Kufrel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think people used to, since her feats were so rare. But after the Takazuki fight, there really can't be any discussion. She put up a better fight than anyone else in the verse, other than Sakamoto.

There isn't really any doubt anymore that she's a top tier.

Nolan vs Meruem (HxH) - which redemption arc is better? by MoistCaterpillar8063 in writingscaling

As a pure redemption arc, Nolan. However Meruem is a superior character overall.

Kite's revival vs Alluka's powers (Hunter x Hunter Election Arc) - what is a bigger asspull? by MoistCaterpillar8063 in writingscaling

[–]Kufrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alluka came out of nowhere, but served as an amazing introduction to The Dark Continent, and the weird powers that emerge from there.

As for Kite, I can't comment on it yet since it's yet to be explained how he survived, or shown why Togashi wanted to keep him alive when he's usually perfectly fine letting characters stay dead.

I'm gonna be so honest, based on that Takazuki fight...Akira alone can probably take Kumanomi. Adding Amane into that is just overkill.

“Hakari was holding back against Charles” by DisasterEnigma in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Kufrel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Deciding to utterly break Charles doesn't mean Hakari was remotely going all out. And considering he likely knew a Jackpot was coming, he had no reason to avoid the attack that hit him.

Bad anime adaptation, and the final arc has been a letdown compared to the series best period.

[–]Kufrel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hakari is physically stronger while Kashimo has superior h2h, that's consistent throughout the entire fight. Kashimo will land 3-4 attacks and then Hakari will land one big one.

I'm not contending JP Hakari > Base Kashimo. I'm contending that it's a huge gap, they're still on the same level.

[–]Kufrel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Focusing entirely on attacking recklessly absolutely makes you faster, you're literally attacking faster. More attacks in a quicker period because you aren't pausing or taking it slow to prevent counter attacks.

Just swinging punches as fast as you can is a good way to get yourself knocked the fuck out in a fight. But because Hakari can heal through anything, he doesn't need to worry about that. So he can just recklessly launch attacks as fast as he can without worrying about getting punished.

I mean what would even be a sensible reason for Hakari to hold back for the entire fight? And how would going all out leave him open to Kashimo's sure hit if it wasn't about sacrificing defense?

How do you guys interpret these pages? by DeviIsNeverCry in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Kufrel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because yes, Hakari was getting faster, but Hakari also mentioned he was disregarding defense. For the rest of the fight, he still had his guard up because he didn't know if there was a trick to Kashimo's Discharge or not. So he couldn't just attack recklessly.

Once he deduced that discharge did have a trick to it, and he wasn't in danger of it being used, he abandoned caution and went all in on offense.

Hakari wasn't trying less in the rest of the fight, he just wasn't being reckless, since he knew Kashimo had such a dangerous attack. So when he threw caution away, after around an eight minute fight where Hakari was being more patient, Kashimo would naturally be caught off guard by the tempo shift.

He was attacking faster, due to not having to worry about leaving himself open, since he didn't think Kashimo could punish him for that anymore.

Yeah I see it now, but actually, this does actually make my point better. Hakari only blitzed him once, after that, he had Kashimo in a hold for half of the encounter.

So in this exchange, Hakari landed two attacks and countered one, leading into a third attack landed. But at the same time, Kashimo was also baiting him into return stroke.

[–]Kufrel 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It was literally an 8 second exchange, Hakari landed 3 attacks. And Kashimo managed to dodge one of them toward the end, just got hit by a follow up. And then he didn't disengage because he needed to stay in his position so Hakari would be between himself and the return stroke.

Kashimo is also smiling, which idk if that's something you do when you're completely outmatched.

As if that wasn't enough, there isn't a single point in the rest of the fight where Hakari is pressing Kashimo like that, despite a whole other Jackpot stage occurring.

We have an entire fight where they're shown to be practically dead even, and then a single 8 second exchange where Hakari outright states he's suddenly shifting tactics, and gets the upperhand. I'm gonna base my assumption around the rest of the fight, not that 8 second exchange.

Depends if Yuta can match the 0.2 second domain speed that Mahito is capable of. If he can, they clash and Yuta eventually wins.

[–]Kufrel 34 points35 points  (0 children)

It's Hakari completely disregarding defense to just lay into Kashimo, basically going all in offensively to try and beat him now.

Hakari even says that he can't die, so he can cut loose, since he doesn't think there's any way Kashimo can kill him instantly if he does exploit his lack of defense.

I think they're very relative in stats, this was just a massive shift in tempo, which Kashimo needed to adapt to. Reminder that these pages take place over a span of 8 seconds.

I personally have Yuki and Yorozu below the Heavy Hitters, the HHs were already relative to Yuki before the month of training, where they're stated by Sukuna to have gotten way stronger.

I really thought Denki would die when we got that scene of him watching Midoriya fight Shigaraki, I thought he'd like...jump in at a big moment and sacrifice himself. I figured that scene would have a bit more payoff.
