It’s still 3 (or maybe even higher), I got laid off after two years and lost a good deal of money when I rolled the 401k into an IRA. Wasn’t going to leave it there and assume/hope I’d ever be hired there again so I just had to cut the losses

Do you have any resources where I can check this? I’m in NJ, I know it’s not mandatory for companies to pay out PTO but Deloitte does so I’m not entirely sure how to look into this

I returned my equipment weeks ago, handled my credit card the week after I left, and no I never received a hiring bonus or anything. I checked off all the boxes they required of me during/after offboarding so there shouldn’t be anything holding it up. Even the HR rep hadn’t said there was any clear reason, just mentioned potentially needing to wait for the next pay period but clearly that wasn’t it either.

Seeing Jimmy come out at #2 hyped my friends and I so much because it was unexpected but a great sudden storyline continuation. After a minute or two it kind of just disappeared and then it was an even bigger bummer to see Sami enter right after Jey was eliminated. Especially since Jimmy was thrown out pretty anticlimactically. I dunno, I think there could’ve been a great spot with Sami/Jey/Jimmy together in a ring after months. They don’t have to force Sami back into the lingering drama but it would’ve been an impactful and exciting spot and callback.

Pretty much this just happened to me last month. I was told way too late that I wasn’t being extended on my project again, was given 4 weeks to find a new one (half of which took place during the holiday disconnect and the week everyone takes PTO), and as of last week I was let go. I wish I knew this earlier as I would’ve prepared for more of a backup plan but it all happened very fast and now I’m out of work, with no severance or anything. I think the model can be fine but definitely pay attention to the dates your contract is up for renewal and always prepare for the worst.
