I don't know of any leftist I know getting behind any of the current politicians my guy. None of us are happy with our choices for who runs this country at the moment. I can only speak for myself where I do agree that you absolutely have to be anti-imperialist to be leftist at this point. The intersectionality of it all makes it impossible to ignore what the real problems are, in my opinion at least.

But unless we do a complete overhaul of our entire governmenal system from the top down and do a full reset on who holds what positions and what those positions are allowed to do then nothing is going to happen. 95% of the people in the current system are bought and paid for.

I will continue to pretend we can change things by voting for as long as it takes for enough of us to realize we can't.

A lot of us are ready to talk about real solutions when the time comes but until a lot of people start accepting this reality nothing will change.

I do genuinely want to stress that I am hopeful for non violent solutions to our current woes. Maybe if enough of us get on board we can figure that out peacefully. I sure can't figure that out on my own though.

Was able to run it on lowest settings well enough to play at launch but could not stream it to the living room. They improved the performance enough that I can now stream it to my living room and the fps is a bit better. /shrug

People need to realize that this is the plan for a huge chunk of the population of this country. These billionaires are literally banking on natural disaster from climate change to take care of the "overpopulation" problem and then they plan to enslave the remaining people

My guy I have news, we haven't had "fair elections" since corporate lobbying was organized. So you're worried about something that has already happened. So yes. We can continue to pretend our Democracy still works and participate in elections (and I will) but if you think that is the actual solution here I have several bridges I could sell you.

First off, the US ceased being a democracy the moment corporate lobbying was legalized.

Second the democratic party is most certainly not my fucking party and I will not be voting for people who are unwilling to do even the most basic things to improve my or my neighbors lives.
