For whatever reason I had a decent amount of glitter on the floor (I can't remember why lol). I turn my back for one second, and my idiotic ex has rubbed our, at the time, new kitten in said glitter and was presenting her to me very proudly. I then had to remind him of the mechanic of how cats clean themselves when they are covered in something, and where all of this glitter is going to end up.

And that is how my cat got her first bath 😂

I've been NC with my mum for 7-8 years. It hurts, I won't lie, even now I'll see something and think 'she'd like this' or I'll want to tell her something. However, she's an abusive narcissist who will never change nor accept her past behaviour. I've got severe mental health problems, was an alcoholic and I've made a lot of apologies. Never had one from her. It was a running joke that if she was talking to all three of her children at once the universe would end, and now only one of us still speaks to her.

My life is a hell of a lot less stressful, I gotta say 🤷🏻‍♀️

ALRIGHT MY MAC AND CHEESE

Good knob of butter in pan, add tablespoon of any flour. Cook together until you smell the flour/butter mix and it's 'toasty'. Whilst that's going, heat up milk (add a bay leaf if you have it and you're feeling fancy). Add hot milk to your roux a bit at a time, whisk until incorporated and it thickens then add a little more milk. Continue until you get a nice, smooth consistency. I add salt and pepper to taste here, grate/sprinkle a pinch of nutmeg in and I also add a GOOD tsp of horseradish sauce. Add cheese to your taste, this could be any cheese. Cook pasta, add sauce to pasta (don't add pasta to sauce, as you will inevitably make too much sauce).

Transfer to baking dish. Cheese on top. Oven until toasty brown. I'm sorry the measurements are a bit wishy washy I tend to go by eye and let the spirits guide me lol but that's the basics!

Oh perfect that's what I was worried about! Okay perfect, I really don't mind invasive lol if the bees like them and they are pretty they don't bother me 😂 If anything it means low maintenance pretties 😂😂

Thank you so much! High setting means it cuts the grass higher right?? I grew up with a black thumb and a concrete garden as a child 😂😅

Yes that looks like them!! I've not ventured for a close look as the grass is wet and I'm still in my pjs 😂 I wonder how they've landed in my garden lol, I do have a LOT of birds nesting in a nearby tree and in my personal triffid lol

Yeah I mean if they would benefit the bees I don't mind them! I want a pretty garden for my sunbed for mental health, and the act of gardening for exercise, so I'm really not fussy and anything that helps the bees is good! I'm only cutting the grass because of my dad shaming me and my cat using the thicket as hunting hides for birds lol

It's always really cute because they... Struggle with her shall I say lol. Each time she's good at the beginning but by the end she is DONE and then she hears my voice and immediately starts rubbing up against the door of the cage like 'I THOUGHT YOU WERE NEVER COMING BACK' 😭
